Story
His will be 3 in July of 2026 but he is our big gentle giant of a puppy. He is well behaved but can be skittish around new people but doesn't take long to warm up. Super sweet boy that needs a place to play and someone to love. If he isnt adopted by March we will have to have him put down since we can no longer take care of him.

Story
Ghost is 2 years old and his birthday is in June. He is 80 pounds, a gentle giant of a puppy. He is an affectionate, playful, communicative pet. He is trained on different voice and hand commands like speak, shake, sit, stay and lay down. Ghost is kennel trained and house broken. We can include the large metal crate with his adoption. He need to be crated when let alone. Ghost loves toys, to play fetch, go on hikes and snuggling. He is up to date with all his shots and has Hannah as his insurance. We would be willing to transfer the insurance to the new owners. Ghost has been with us since he was born and we are sad to have to rehome him. We unfortunately had to downsize to an apartment and are expecting our 2nd child. Ghost needs a yard to run and someone that has more time to give him that he deserves. We are heartbroken to have to rehome him but it is what is best for him.

Story
Meet Nani! Nani is a beautiful female German Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a sweet, soulful personality. She can be a little timid when meeting new people or exploring new places, but give her just a little time and you’ll see her blossom. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate and loving nature really shines through.Nani was found wandering as a stray, so we don’t know much about her past. What we do know is that the kind people who found her shared that she did well with their dogs, cats, and kids. Here at the shelter, she’s shown us that while she can be friendly with other dogs, she may be a bit selective about her canine companions. Because of this, we recommend proper introductions and, if you have another dog, a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a good match.Nani would thrive in a patient, loving home that can help her continue building confidence and feeling safe. With a little reassurance and a lot of love, she’ll be a loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who just needs someone to believe in her, Nani might be your perfect match. Story
Meet Rosie! Rosie is a beautiful 6-month-old Husky/Shepherd mix with a sweet personality and a bright, curious mind. She loves people and is always happy to soak up attention and affection from her humans.Rosie can be a little unsure when she encounters new dogs or unfamiliar situations, but with a little time and reassurance she relaxes and gains confidence. Once she feels comfortable, her playful puppy side really comes out. This smart girl is already potty trained and quick to learn. She enjoys having a routine and would thrive in a home that continues helping her build confidence and learn new things.Rosie does well with kids and can get along with other dogs, though she may be cautious when meeting them at first. She’s also curious about cats and may try to play with them, but she’s respectful if they set clear boundaries.Because of her prey drive, Rosie cannot be placed in a home with chickens.Rosie would do best with a patient family who will help guide her through new experiences and let her grow into the confident, loyal companion she’s meant to be. In return, you’ll get a loving, intelligent pup who will be a wonderful addition to the family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143What her adoption fee covers:&#226&#156&#133 Spay&#226&#156&#133 Vaccines&#226&#156&#133 Microchip&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Rosie? Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application.Adoption Fee: $350For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMarch 8, 2026, 7:15 am
