Story
Say hello to the beautiful mythical belusky Lyla. Ms. Lyla loves to jump to show love and get hugs but is just her way to decompress her excitement. Everyone is Ms. Lyla's friend and is easily entertained by a few laps around the lawn and a good squeaky toy. Lyla is always tapping gently on her kennel gate to say hello and is such a lover of simple things- a treat and pets light up her world. Note: we are not sure what Lyla's living situation was before she ended up at the shelter- but she waits for playtime to do her business outside and has made at least three new dog buds since our play yard was installed! Hello there the adoption fee is $30.00 CHECK ONLY it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 30 day window can be extended however A VETS LETTER IS NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE REASON WHY. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!

Story
Bosch is a good dog and friendly. He would welcome being a lap dog most nights but does spend most of his time on the floor. He always likes being in the room with his owner and will constantly move to be close by. He is scared of fireworks and thunderstorms. Bosch has been side by side with his brother, Sisco since birth and they have stayed in our yard all their life other than trips to the vet for annual checks ins. This makes them both quite territorial and they have the odd fight over food or a toy. As Bosch has aged we have noticed he is quicker to become aggressive to Sisco so we recently started him on Prozac just to keep him calm and that has worked very well. We noticed he is much less worried about fireworks or storms as a result. We are in a life stage where we are looking to relocate to an apartment as part of a downsizing in the Spring. We would like to find homes for both Bosch and Sisco, so we are posting in case a family is interested.

Story
5-6 year old Pit/German Shepherd/Husky named Daisy free to a good home. 4-5 year old labradoodle named Odie also free, but only if you are taking Daisy too. Must have no other cats or dogs. If you don't have room for her, but know what I can do to help her get re-homed properly, please let me know. Houston area, but willing to drive a bit within Texas for the right home.Daisy is a fantastic animal. She's great with babies and children, very friendly and will play with you and let you cuddle, tussle with, and wrestle her, will turn any home invader into ribbons, and can be a very skilled hunting dog if trained just a little. She's smart and obedient if given the time to teach. Has never gone potty inside the house, knows how to use dog doors, and knows how to ask to go out if there are none. She is not bad around most other dogs, but she does play rough with other dogs and sometimes bullies older dogs to the point it starts fights, so you must have no other cats or dogs in the house.
