Indi is a 10 year old sweet, stubborn old lady. She loves snuggles, sunbathing, and all the meat (don’t ever try to feed her a vegetable, she’ll look at you like you’re stupid). Indi will turn 11 on December 26th. She still loves to run around and play. Indi and Abner have been together for the last 10 years and I would love to keep it that way. They do best together. When my husband and I had our first daughter (who is now 2) they became her dogs. They will listen to any command she tells them and they love to follow her around the house. Unfortunately my daughter has sever eczema and is allergic to both the dogs and has caused really bad flares. I started keeping the dogs outside more and making sure they can’t go into her room but it hasn’t helped with my daughter’s allergic reactions. Abner and Indi are my babies, they have been with me since I was 16/17 years old and I’m now 27. They have been around lots of people and dog parks and do great with animals and kids.

The personality. The face. The size. The EARS! Everything about Kaiser Cruz from head to toe, inside out, is literal perfection. Shepherd lovers better hurry up because he won't be available for long. He is snuggly, dog friendly, loves the outdoors, smart, and great with kids! The list can quite literally go on and on and on. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Kaiser is the perfect combination of affection while also being independent. He's not overly needy with his love nor does he ever over do it. If you're someone that works from home, he'll be a great work from home buddy because he's not going to be constantly begging you for attention or getting into things he shouldn't be (he has wonderful house manners I might add). He's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear/nose scratch almost as if he knew you needed a 5 min break from work. As for the rest of the time, he's a window watcher and loves looking out windows or he'll be playing with a toy. While Kaiser waits for his forever family, he is being spoiled by his foster family and they absolutely adore him and rave about him. He is currently fostered in a home with kids ages 4 and 8 years old, and Kaiser has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in his foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and he loves being a part of a family dynamic. Kaiser is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. He has no issues when the kids are playing with his toys, running around, and is frequently found giving them the gentlest kisses. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Kaiser is definitely your guy. Not only is Kaiser great with kids, he is also very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to and is also fostered in a home with an 8 month old playful pittie mix. Kaiser has been around dogs all with different personalities and has done great with every single one. Kaiser is wonderful about meeting new dogs and will either play with them or will go off and do his own thing. That's what is so great about him, the way he is able to adapt to the dogs around him. He can run around, have a good time and he also just as happy going off and doing his own thing while the other dogs are being wild. Kaiser is more about exploring and doing his own thing rather than playing with other dogs. Though when Kaiser does play, he plays like a total shepherd. If you know shepherds or have ever owned one, then you know they love mouthy air play, will give nose boops where they see fit LOL, and use their paws like they are professional boxers at times all while keeping things lighthearted and fun. Shepherd play is definitely entertaining to say the least. Kaiser would love to have a dog sibling in the home, but if you don't have one, that's okay too. He does not need the company of another dog to satisfy his energy needs or to help him open up. Kaiser would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. If joy had ears, they’d look a lot like Brooklyn Cherry. This happy girl brings the kind of upbeat, feel-good energy that makes everyone around her smile without even trying. She’s always in a good mood, always ready for fun, and those expressive ears just add to her already irresistible charm. Beyond her adorable looks, Brooklyn Cherry is incredibly smart, dog friendly, loves her toys, and strikes that perfect balance between playful adventure buddy and snuggly companion. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Just based off looks, there are sprinkles of so many amazing breeds that it's hard for us to narrow it down without doing a DNA test (which we would love to see if her future adopters do one). We can see Rhodesian Ridgeback with her coloring and frame, along with German Shepherd with those ears, and with legs like that, she may even have Great Dane sprinkled in there too. We may never know, but regardless of what her DNA says, she is the perfect blend in our eyes. Brooklyn is dog friendly and gets along well with other dogs who enjoy and can match her play style. She’s the “roughhousing in the yard” kind of girl -playful and physical, and so much fun to watch. When dogs are confident and enjoy that same type of play, she thrives. Brooklyn has made some wonderful dog friends who she plays beautifully with. You can see her big goofy grin and those paws in the air and know she is having a blast! Brooklyn would do best in a home with a moderately playful dog that likes to play and one that also likes to hangout and relax. If you don't have other dogs, that's okay too! She would be great as a solo dog as she does not need the constant play to keep her entertained or the companionship to help her open up and be comfortable. Brooklyn is a happy social butterfly all on her own and she would love to be the center of your world. Her basics are already solid too! Brooklyn is fully potty and crate trained, and a quick learner. She already knows some basic commands, like sit and has a pretty decent recall already. Brooklyn is fairly easy to walk on a leash and will be a great adventure buddy! She does pull occasionally out of excitement or if she wants to go sniff something but is easy to correct. She aims to please and loves to learn new things too. She knows how to sit, shake, down, and can learn so much more. This girl really can do it all. With the right training and guidance, there’s nothing you can throw her way she wouldn’t be able to do. She would be the perfect adventure companion to take with you on walks, hikes, and could even make a fantastic running partner. Yes, Brooklyn can be a super fun, active, adventurous girly but she also has a calm side as well. She seems to already have some level of understanding that play time is an outside luxury. Of course, she will play indoors with a toy or tennis ball if you want her to but she is really good about finding a spot on the couch with her favorite toy and is perfectly content doing her own thing. Brooklyn's dream home would have a big backyard where she can stretch those legs, smell all the smells, and a place where she can find that perfect spot in the grass to bake in the sun. She would do best with a semi-active family that wants to take their dog with them on hikes, maybe even looking for a running partner, and also wanting a snuggly companion after a full day of adventures. Who doesn’t love a fun, loving, full of life Husky that instantly puts a smile on your face because he just seems so happy all the time?! Well, say hello to Sid Smitty Truly the dog version of a human exclamation point. He has this contagious, feel-good energy about him that makes being around him so much fun. From what we’ve seen so far, Sid Smitty genuinely seems happiest when he’s included in whatever is going on. Hanging out with people? Amazing. Playing with dog friends? Best day ever. Getting attention and affection? Absolutely yes. He’s been incredibly sweet with everyone he’s met and has this way of melting right into you for love like he’s known you forever. What makes him extra special though is that he really seems to have the best of both worlds personality-wise. He can be playful, goofy, and full of silly Husky fun one minute, then perfectly content cuddling up beside you soaking in affection the next. He’s also done great around kids and overall just gives off that “life is more fun when this dog is around” kind of vibe. Which seems like a big number on paper and when you’re reading it. He is a big dog but he’s more legs, height and fluff than he is poundage. And as if Sid wasn’t already unique enough, this boy has one random little black spot right in the middle of his tail like someone accidentally booped him with a paintbrush and decided, “yep, perfect, leave it.” It’s such a silly little detail but somehow makes him even cuter and gives him so much character. Like his tail needed its own beauty mark or something LOL. If you watched his video then you saw his interactions around a 2 year old. Sid was honestly SO sweet with her and seemed genuinely happy just being included in all the little moments and chaos. Right away he was confidently going up to her while she was swinging a cat toy around everywhere, following her around curiously, and just happily existing in the middle of all the action. He wasn’t bothered by whining, crying noises, or unpredictable toddler energy at all. And despite being a goofy Husky boy with basically zero spatial awareness LOL, he was naturally very gentle with her. One of the sweetest moments was when they were both up on the couch together and Sid completely melted into her, like fully laid on her like a giant fluffy weighted blanket just soaking up the cuddles. It was one of those moments where everyone in the room was like “okay wait… this is ridiculously cute.” Based off what we’ve seen, he really seems to have a lot of potential to make a super fun, affectionate family dog in the right home. With other dogs, Sid has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He has been with dogs ranging in sizes (some as small as 8lbs) and personalities. From what we have seen, Sid gravitates towards playful dogs like himself the most. And when he does find a playmate, he truly shines. Consistent of games of chase, wrestling matches, and if you know shepherds, then you know they like to throw paws and love mouthy type play. In a home, he would do great with a fun, happy, confident female that likes to play, enjoys rowdy play and also a dog that appreciates the calmer hangout moments too. If you don’t have other dogs that’s fine too. We believe Sid could be just as happy being the center of your attention. Sid also met our house cat Biggie and appeared to be just as friendly with him as he is with dogs. Almost as if Biggie was another pal to play with. Biggie is very dog savvy and is comfortable around dogs and will even play with dogs he is comfortable with. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Yes, Sid can be a super fun, active, adventurous guy but he also has a calm side as well. He has had no problem making himself feel right at home and will lay right on top of you if you let him. Who doesn't love GSD snuggles?! He seems to already have some level of understanding that play time is an outside luxury and has good house manners. Though, he has shown that he is comfortable with couch cuddles and may attempt to sneak a snack or too off tables LOL. He hasn’t done it yet, but with his love for food and the advantage of being on the taller side. A small plate of your leftovers might be really tempting for him. Sid has enjoyed playing with toys, in particular rope toys and toys that he can play tug with. He also likes to play with balls too! In all honesty, we believe he would like playing with any kind of toy if that means you’re engaging in the play too. From what we have seen, Sid isn’t play play play 24/7. A little fun outdoors with his doggy friends or backyard play sessions with people, Sid will be prepped and ready for snuggles. Not feeling snuggly? That’s fine. He has been really good about finding a cozy spot on the floor and settling in with his favorite toy and is perfectly content doing his own thing.
