Story
The personality. The face. The size. The EARS! Everything about Kaiser Cruz from head to toe, inside out, is literal perfection. Shepherd lovers better hurry up because he won't be available for long. He is snuggly, dog friendly, loves the outdoors, smart, and great with kids! The list can quite literally go on and on and on. Biggest flex this boy has are those amazing ears. Full of personality and full of cuteness. Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet boy: https://youtu.be/ajZy2JOkRrw?si=SuyuCzdNV99fOIl2 Kaiser Cruz is believed to be a Shepherd mix approximately 8 years old and currently weighs 64 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Kaiser is the perfect combination of affection while also being independent. He's not overly needy with his love nor does he ever over do it. If you're someone that works from home, he'll be a great work from home buddy because he's not going to be constantly begging you for attention or getting into things he shouldn't be (he has wonderful house manners I might add). He's the type that will come up to you when the time is right for a little ear/nose scratch almost as if he knew you needed a 5 min break from work. As for the rest of the time, he's a window watcher and loves looking out windows or he'll be playing with a toy. While Kaiser waits for his forever family, he is being spoiled by his foster family and they absolutely adore him and rave about him. He is currently fostered in a home with kids ages 4 and 8 years old, and Kaiser has been nothing but sweet perfection around the kids in his foster home. They have the best time playing together, snuggling, and he loves being a part of a family dynamic. Kaiser is very tolerant with all of the kids in the home and just loves them to pieces. He has no issues when the kids are playing with his toys, running around, and is frequently found giving them the gentlest kisses. It's the sweetest thing! If you have kids and are looking for a bestie for your kiddos, Kaiser is definitely your guy. Not only is Kaiser great with kids, he is also very dog friendly and has done great with all the dogs we have introduced him to and is also fostered in a home with an 8 month old playful pittie mix. Kaiser has been around dogs all with different personalities and has done great with every single one. Kaiser is wonderful about meeting new dogs and will either play with them or will go off and do his own thing. That's what is so great about him, the way he is able to adapt to the dogs around him. He can run around, have a good time and he also just as happy going off and doing his own thing while the other dogs are being wild. Kaiser is more about exploring and doing his own thing rather than playing with other dogs. Though when Kaiser does play, he plays like a total shepherd. If you know shepherds or have ever owned one, then you know they love mouthy air play, will give nose boops where they see fit LOL, and use their paws like they are professional boxers at times all while keeping things lighthearted and fun. Shepherd play is definitely entertaining to say the least. Kaiser would love to have a dog sibling in the home, but if you don't have one, that's okay too. He does not need the company of another dog to satisfy his energy needs or to help him open up. Kaiser would love to be in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, and explore all the fun smells. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. He’ll enjoy going on neighborhood walks, mini adventures and then will happily lay next to you for cozy time. Kaiser is such a good boy, a 10/10! Now, he just needs a family to call his own. We are willing to test Kaiser Cruz with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Calling all Shepherd lovers, do we have a SPECIAL and AMAZING boy for you! Let's roll out the red carpet for this handsome fluffy guy named Smiley Wiley. First thing's first, look at how gorgeous he is! He is the definition of a show stopper there is no doubt about that. Not only is he beautiful, he has a personality to match. Solid. Athletic. Loyal. Down for whatever and then happy to crash hard when the day’s done. That’s Smiley Wiley. Built like the kind of dog who naturally looks right walking next to you. Watch his video and you’ll be wanting to take him home ASAP: https://youtu.be/Ly3EZKulfIs?si=hSYua1zY-an6ucNi Smiley Wiley is believed to be a German Shepherd mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 65 lbs. Now, Wiley is a rescue dog and we can't guarantee the breed exactly but just based on his looks we are fairly certain Wiley has some GSD in there somewhere. We would love for him to find a home with someone who has a little GSD experience under their belt. Someone who gets their fun loyal spirit and is ready for a loving, adventurous companion. Have you ever met a dog that likes to hug? Well never say never because now you have (virtually at least). When we say Wiley give hugs, we are not exaggerating. He seriously will hug you and it's by far one of our favorite things about him. Truly the biggest bear hugs you will have ever received or experienced. The hugs he gives will absolutely come in hand too when you're having a bad day and you just need a hug. Wiley has you covered in that department, they will make your entire day. Wiley is also great around other dogs and loves being a pack animal. He doesn’t need a home with other dogs but he clearly does well with them! When he finds a playmate, he plays like a total shepherd! Consistent of lighthearted games of chase, wrestling matches, and if you know shepherds, then you know they like to throw paws and love mouthy type play. That is just how Wiley likes to play and that is what we mean by "he plays like a typical GSD." In a home, he would do great with with a fun, happy, confident female that likes to play, enjoys rowdy play and also a dog that appreciates the calmer hangout moments too. We actually believe Wiley would do best in a home with another dog. In new environments and situations, he can get a little nervous around things, even as little as his own shadow. Having another confident dog in the home will help guide him and build his confidence. When it comes to kitties, they are not for him, that GSD in him really says “No thanks!” He thrives on confident leadership, responds incredibly well to structure, and bonds deeply with his person. He's smart, and tuned in, already knows a solid set of commands. Wiley is very treat motivated too and will do anything for a treat but you also don't need one either for him to listen or sit for you. He is super smart and will sit on a dime even if he thinks you have a treat. He already knows how to do so many things like sit, down, and wait. You could probably teach him to do so many other things too. He loves to please and when you are working with him, he is great about making eye contact too. With the right training and guidance, there’s nothing you can throw his way he wouldn’t be able to do. Wiley would be the perfect adventure companion to take with you on walks, hikes, and could even make a fantastic running partner. Yes, Wiley can be a super fun, active, adventurous guy but he also has a calm side as well. He has no problem making himself feel right at home and will lay right on top of you if you let him. Who doesn't love GSD snuggles?! He seems to already have some level of understanding that play time is an outside luxury. Of course, he will play indoors with a toy or tennis ball if you want him to but he is really good about finding a cozy spot on the floor and settling in with his favorite toy and is perfectly content doing his own thing. Wiley has spent plenty of time around younger children while he's out exploring and has done great with them. While he’s good-natured and tolerant of the occasional squeal or quick movements from younger children, he tends to prefer the company of older kids. Older children, around 15 and up are more in tune with his boundaries, they understand when he needs space and can respect his need for a little calm time. He also enjoys more engaging and thoughtful playtime in the yard with older kids such as fetch and running around playing a game of tag your it. He would be great in a home with 1-2 kids ages 15 and up and if you have grandchildren or friends that have younger kids that come and visit, Wiley will be completely happy with that too because it is not an everyday thing. Wiley’s dream home would have a big backyard where he can stretch those legs, smell all the smells, and a place where he can find that perfect spot in the grass to bake in the sun. He would do best with a semi-active family that wants to take their dog with them on hikes, maybe even are looking for a running partner, and also looking for a dog that likes to relax as well. He can certainly do both after he's had some form of mental stimulation. Wiley is the best of both worlds in our eyes. We are willing to test Smiley Wiley with anything you need in order to ensure that it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
From the moment you meet Lentil Lou, one thing becomes very clear...life is simply more fun with her in it. This sweet, goofy girl has the joyful spirit of an oversized shepherd puppy, paired with a heart that seems to have endless love to give. Lentil Lou is incredibly social and greets the world with pure happiness, always ready to make a new friend whether they have two legs or four. She absolutely adores other dogs and lights up during playtime, bouncing around with playful enthusiasm and charming silliness that’s impossible not to smile at. Equal parts cuddly sweetheart and playful goofball, Lentil Lou brings laughter, affection, and nonstop cuteness wherever she goes. If you’ve been looking for a dog who will fill your days with fun, companionship, and a whole lot of love, Lentil Lou might just be your perfect match. Watch her video and you'll be smitten by her: https://youtu.be/xErEmx2U-Is?si=fBol9-3XA2TNA5Ej Lentil Lou is believed to be a German Shepherd mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 48 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We do know that Lentil is as sweet as they come, and to add to her greatness, she is essentially a full-grown puppy with that adorable puppy face of hers. This little lady loves to love and adores every person she meets. The term stranger danger does not exist in her vocabulary. She is the definition of a social butterfly, and with her, you’ll have a bestie to explore with, a snuggly princess to binge-watch your favorite shows with, and the sole reason your camera roll will always be full. She has been around kids and has been nothing but gentle around young kids. We do believe that she would be happiest in a home with kids 12 and older. Lentil is very dog friendly and loves to make friends with other dogs. She has been around dogs with all different temperaments, from large dominant males to submissive quiet ladies, and her personal favorite… the playful party pups. Lentil loves to play with other dogs and has the best time romping around, wrestling, playing chase, sharing toys, and also enjoys simply hanging out. She’s not all about bringing the party vibes all the time; she appreciates downtime and relaxing at home with her new friends as well. Lentil would do great in a home with another playful dog like herself but can also be your one and only. She does not need the company of another dog to feel comfortable or open up. Lentil is a social butterfly by nature and would love to be the center of your world. Lentil is a smart gal too! She brings the brains to every training session. She is very treat motivated and eager to please. She already knows how to sit, and you can tell she is ready to learn it all just by the way she engages with her person. It’s actually pretty cute how much she wants to make you happy. You’ll see it in her video if you haven’t already. She walks fairly nicely on a leash and may pull occasionally out of excitement to go sniff something interesting or say hello to a friendly face. It’s easy to regain her focus, and she responds well to gentle reminders. Lentil is also comfortable tandem walking with other dogs. She is crate trained and potty trained too! With patience, consistency, and of course treats, training with Lentil will be a fun and rewarding bonding experience for you both. Lentil would thrive in a home with a semi-active family that enjoys neighborhood walks and is looking for a super affectionate girl. If you’re someone who loves to host and have people over, Lentil will be the very first one to greet your guests. Not feeling especially social one day? That’s perfectly fine by Lentil, she’ll be happiest wherever you are. She would also make an amazing adventure buddy! Take her to the park, explore nature trails, go on outings, visit your local brewery or beach, and watch her win hearts and gather adoring fans everywhere she goes. We believe Lentil would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, soak up the sunshine, and happily meander alongside you while you garden or work around the yard. Story
If your dream dog is the kind that can’t get close enough to you, the kind who melts into every pet, leans in for more, and turns affection into her full-time job… Tamera Honey is about to be your girl. She has that big, over-the-top, all-in kind of love that Shepherd people know and hope for. The kind that makes you laugh, makes you feel wanted, and somehow makes every interaction feel like the best part of her day. But wait…there’s more! Tamera Honey is not only incredibly sweet but she is also amazing with kids, dog friendly, respectful around cats, smart, and the list can go on and on. She’s a special one, no doubt about that. Watch her video and you’ll see just how sweet she is: https://youtu.be/ghl6TxnJ81Q?si=zweDqvJtpjKEIcsn Tamera Honey is believed to be a German Shepherd mix approximately 1–2 years old and currently weighs 58 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee age or breed. Just based on looks alone, it’s pretty fair to say she has some GSD in that DNA. We’d love to find adopters who have a little GSD experience under their belt, someone who understands their fun, independent spirit and is ready for a loving, adventurous companion. Tamera is dog friendly and has done great with all of the dogs we have introduced. She does prefer slightly slower introductions before jumping into playtime. When she does play, she plays like a total shepherd. If you know shepherds, then you know the vibes. Mouthy air play, little nose boops where she sees fit, and plenty of chase games. It’s entertaining to say the least! Tamera is more of a bounce-around, run-alongside-her-friends kind of girl rather than constant wrestling. She will give a subtle correction if she’s not feeling it or if play gets too rough, like an older sister setting fair boundaries. Always appropriate, always respectful. Tamera would do best with a moderately playful dog that enjoys both playtime and downtime. A buddy who can match that balance would be perfect for her. If you don’t have another dog, that’s totally fine too! Tamera doesn’t need a doggy companion to feel comfortable or fulfilled. She is a total lovebug with her people and will be perfectly happy with backyard play sessions or neighborhood walks with you. Tamera also met our house cat Biggie and did great. She was respectful, didn’t chase, and wasn’t bothered by typical cat behavior. Biggie was comfortable around her as well. While we don’t know her full history with cats, she showed all the right signs. If you have a cat, we can always arrange a meet-and-greet or sleepover to be sure it’s a good fit. Tamera is a smart girl too! She is very treat motivated, eager to please, and already knows so many tricks! She knows how to sit, down, shake, spin, roll over, and speak! Tamera loves to make you happy and gives us the impression that she is the type that you can teach anything too. She walks fairly nicely on a leash and may pull occasionally out of excitement, but she responds well to gentle reminders and is easy to refocus. She’s also comfortable tandem walking with other dogs. On top of that, she is crate trained and potty trained! With consistency and a few treats, any additional training will be a fun and rewarding experience for both of you. Tamera would thrive in a semi-active home that enjoys neighborhood walks, a little adventure, and a whole lot of affection. If you’re someone who loves to host, she will absolutely be the first one at the door greeting your guests. And if you’re having a quiet day at home? That’s perfect too. She’ll be happiest right there with you. She would make an amazing adventure buddy. Take her to the park, explore nature trails, go on outings, or visit your favorite local spots and watch her collect fans everywhere she goes. Tamera would thrive in a home with a backyard where she can stretch her legs, soak up the sunshine, and happily hang out alongside you while you go about your day. With this beautiful gals voice, apartment life won’t be a good fit for her. When it comes to kids, Tamera just gets it. She has been around children as young as 7 and handled it beautifully, like she instinctively knew exactly where she belonged. She was gentle, patient, and so naturally in tune with them, soaking up affection while staying respectful of their space. There’s something really special about the way she interacts with kids. It’s easy, calm, and genuine. She doesn’t come in too hot or overwhelm them, she simply fits right in, like she’s always been part of the family. Story
Searching for a personal assistant who doesn't take notes, but does take naps? Meet Hanky: He is the ultimate definition of a velcro dog. If there were a map of your house, his favorite destination would be Right Next To You. He’s a sensitive soul who prefers a cozy hangout session over a wild party, making him the perfect companion for anyone who loves a quiet afternoon and a loyal sidekick. Wait until you see those puppy dog eyes in action Watch Hanky’s adoption video! https://youtu.be/7fFX-GAgDW8 What exactly is Hanky Pank ? While we’d love to check his family tree, as with any rescue, we’re mostly making an educated (and very cute) guess! He’s 67 lbs of pure adoration, with a heart that’s clearly much larger than his frame. Think of him as a premium, fur-covered weighted blanket that’s always ready for a snuggle. Hanky is currently flourishing in a foster home where he’s learning that the world is a pretty great place. He is a true gentleman who treats every interaction with a quiet, polite grace. When you offer him a snack, he takes it with the gentlest of touches, often following it up with a soft thank you kiss that will absolutely melt your heart. When it comes to making four legged friends, Hanky is all about the slow and steady approach. He’s a polite soul who gets along with everyone from tiny pups to big companions his own size. Hanky Pank isn’t the let’s wrestle type, he’s much more of a quiet co-exist. He prefers friends who share his chill vibe and appreciate the finer things in life, like a long nap in a patch of sunlight. He’d be a wonderful brother to a calm resident dog, but he’s also perfectly content to be your one and only and soak up all the attention for himself. Whether he’s part of a pack or your solo sidekick, Hanky just wants everyone to feel as relaxed as he is. Whether your pack includes other four legged friends or just a few favorite humans, Hanky is officially ready to move in and make himself at home. If you have a spot on the floor and an even bigger spot in your heart Hanky is ready to be your most loyal sidekick for life. What about feline roommates? While Hanky is a world-class lover, he’s decided that he’d prefer a feline free sanctuary. He is looking for a home where he can be the star of the show without any cat. Hanky’s dream home is a peaceful sanctuary where he can be the center of your world. While he’d love a yard to sniff around in, his calm demeanor makes him perfectly suited for apartment living as long as he has his favorite human nearby. There is something deeply special about winning Hanky’s heart: once he knows he’s home, he becomes a total tail wagging machine the very moment you walk through the door, greeting you with a rhythm that says, I’m so glad you’re back. It’s a sweet, soulful welcome that reminds you every single day just how much you are loved. In every way that matters, Hanky is a soulful, gentle, and incredibly loyal friend who is simply looking for a soft place to land and a person to call his own. He is a low gear guy with high quality love to give the kind of companion who doesn't need much more than your presence to be perfectly happy. Ready to bring this sweet shadow home? Story
Meet Trixie- the small dog loving gal! This beautiful girl weighs 55 pounds and is estimated to be 5 years old. We think she is a cattle dog/shepherd mix, but we aren’t really sure, so we just call her our Texas Special- the very best breed! Trixie is being fostered with nine small grumpy dogs and has been a big foster sister to many more. She loves to gently play with them, and takes it in stride when they growl and snap at her. She shares toys and will lets them take toys from her- even thought she is 6 times their size! A game of chase?? Yes Please- she loves to run and play! Trixie is shy with big dogs and prefers to stays on the sidelines durning big dog play group. She has calmer big dog friends she likes to go walking with, but in general prefers low energy big dogs who give her time to warm up and respect her space. For this reason we think she would be best in a small dog home. Check out Trixie here: https://youtu.be/HGbITB-dv5k Trixie’s bond with her foster mom is tight. She’s become her little shadow, quietly trailing from room to room to be nearby in hopes of sneaking in a belly rub. No one in the house is happier to see her foster mom when she comes home than Trixie, who bounds up to her like she has been gone days, even if it has only been 15 minutes. Looking for a buddy to grab a morning coffee or late night ice cream treat with? Trixie would love to join you! She is an excellent car rider and knows how to “load up”. She is great on the leash and loves to go for walks and to dog friendly stores. She walks by people and dogs with ease. This girl does like to watch squirrels and bunnies- and would give them a chase if allowed. Trixie gets lots of zoomies- and loves to go outside and run laps in the yard. She also enjoys basking in the sun watching the world go by. A home with a fenced yard she can run around in would be ideal for her. Trixie potty trained and crate trained- just give her a treat and tell her to "get in bed". Trixie met our housecat Biggie and was gently curious, giving respectful sniffs before moving along. She’s considered cat tolerant and could do well in a home with a dog-savvy feline who won’t mind the occasional gentle inspection. Trixie is searching for a quiet, peaceful home where she can feel safe and adored, a place with a yard to explore, and a person to lean into and little dogs to play with. She would love to go on a good walk or an adventure up the mountains. If you think Trixie might just be your perfect match, apply here and her coordinator will reach out! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/686a7f52abb88d9ce7062ead Questions? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! This sweet, goofy girl has the joyful spirit of an oversized shepherd puppy, paired with a heart that seems to have endless love to give. Lentil Lou is incredibly social and greets the world with pure happiness, always ready to make a new friend whether they have two legs or four. She absolutely adores other dogs and lights up during playtime, bouncing around with playful enthusiasm and charming silliness that’s impossible not to smile at. We are willing to test Lentil Lou with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match.
Tamera has all the makings of a true family dog, the kind who will happily be part of playtime, then settle in right alongside everyone for those quieter, cozy moments. She’s the kind of dog who just wants to be part of your life, wherever that may be. We are willing to test Tamera Honey with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match.
Story
Pauly D is the kind of dog that walks into a room like he already knows he’s about to become everyone’s favorite. He’s got this larger-than-life personality that instantly pulls people in, equal parts charming, goofy, affectionate, and wildly entertaining. One minute he’s making you laugh with his playful antics and dramatic expressions, the next he’s leaning into you for affection like you’re the most important person in the world. He has that rare combination of confident social butterfly energy mixed with genuinely sweet, loyal companionship, and it makes him ridiculously easy to love. There’s just something about Pauly D that makes life feel more fun. Maybe it’s the happy-go-lucky attitude, the constant enthusiasm for being included in literally anything, or the way he carries himself like the cool guy at the party while still being a total cuddle bug underneath it all. Whatever it is, this boy has the kind of feel-good personality that people remember long after meeting him. Watch his video and fall in love with his fun loving personality: https://youtu.be/orh3OHuMY1s?si=MtJkFO4Bolwi7vyi Pauly D is believed to be a German Shepherd mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 56 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Pauly D is a total people guy. The kind of dog that sees a human and immediately assumes you’re there to admire him, hype him up, and hand over affection and honestly, he’s usually right. He happily strolls up to say hello, leans into pets like he’s known you forever, and has absolutely no issue making himself comfortable right beside you for cuddles. Butt scratches? Elite. Couch time? Sign him up immediately. Hugs, attention, being involved in literally anything you’re doing? That’s his love language. Pauly D has this social, outgoing personality that makes him the type of dog who would thrive in a home that likes having friends over because in his mind, strangers are just future fans. And when it comes to fun? Pauly D is READY. Toys are a huge hit with him and he fully commits to playtime. Stuffies, balls, tug toys, chew toys… if it looks entertaining, he’s in. He’ll happily play fetch, bounce around the yard showing off, or entertain himself with goofy zoomies when he gets excited. He has that fun-loving, upbeat energy that keeps life entertaining, but he’s also got a great off switch and can absolutely appreciate a solid couch crash after he’s gotten his playtime in. Pauly D is dog friendly and has been in multiple playgroups. He brings big VIP-section energy into a playgroup and walks around like everybody already knows who he is. It’s honestly hilarious. Pauly D is social, confident, playful, and very much the guy that wants to make the rounds, stir up some fun, and keep the party going. Some of his best dog friends are playful, confident females that enjoy chase games, don’t mind a little rowdy “bro” energy, and know how to match his fun without taking things too seriously. He especially thrives with goofy, easygoing girls that can play hard for a bit and then naturally settle down for a break after. In a home, Pauly D would likely do best paired with a fun-loving, socially savvy female dog that enjoys an active, playful dynamic and can appreciate his outgoing personality. He would also do great as your one-and-only because honestly… Pauly D already carries himself like the main character. He’s the type of dog that naturally becomes the center of attention everywhere he goes and he would absolutely love soaking up all the love, adventures, compliments, and couch time for himself. As far as kitties go, Pauly D would do best in a kitty-free home. Want to know what would make Pauly D truly living-his-best-life levels of happy? A home with a nice backyard to show off in, humans who enjoy being active and involved with him, and people who appreciate a dog with personality for days. Pauly D would thrive with a confident adopter that enjoys walks, adventures, continued training, and having a dog that actually wants to be part of everything you’re doing. He’s not the type that wants to sit quietly in the background while life happens around him. He wants IN on the fun. A yard for zoomies, a couch for dramatic lounging sessions, and humans who love affection, laughter, and a little daily chaos in the best way would basically be his dream setup. Pauly D has that loyal sidekick personality where he naturally wants to be near his people, involved in the action, and soaking up attention whenever possible. The more included he is in your day-to-day life, the happier this boy will be. And honestly? The more time you have to spoil him and tell him how handsome he is, the more he’ll absolutely eat it up. Pauly D has been around children as young as 5 and was respectful and appropriate with them, but he did seem a little unsure of the younger kid energy. Because of that, we think Pauly D would thrive most in a home with kids around 8 and up that can better understand his space, read his cues, and enjoy his playful, outgoing personality without overwhelming him. He’s a social, fun-loving guy that wants to be included in family life, but he also appreciates a little more predictability and calmness than the average tiny-child tornado tends to bring. Older kids that want a goofy sidekick for walks, hanging out in the yard, movie nights, and everyday adventures would likely be right up Pauly D’s alley. We are willing to test Pauly D with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Meet Poppy the blooming beauty who is ready to plant some serious joy in your life! If you’re looking for a partner in crime for every trail and trek, this vibrant girl is ready to grow right alongside you. Poppy is a total firecracker with a heart of gold and a personality that sparkles! She is the definition of "life of the party," greeting every single person she meets like a long lost best friend. Don't let her athletic prowess fool you Poppy is a "Gentle Giant" through and through. Whether she’s giving out enthusiastic hugs or showing off her lightning fast learning skills, Poppy brings an infectious, super fun energy to every room she enters. She’s the kind of dog who makes every day feel like a sunny afternoon in the park. Believe us her moves are something you don’t want to miss, See her zoomies in action! https://youtu.be/Yzc8F6Ou5MA What makes Poppy truly special is her incredible bond with her humans; she is a total velcro dog who just wants to be where the action is! While she has the drive of an adventurer, she is also a world class lounger who loves to hang out on the couch after a day of play. She loves her "private mini room!" Poppy is crate trained and views her space as a cozy sanctuary to relax. She’s been living and playing with smaller dogs (around 17 lbs) and has shown she’s a social butterfly who loves to lick her foster siblings' faces every morning to say "hello." She’s a smart cookie who picks up on house rules in a heartbeat! Poppy knows exactly how to scale down her play to be gentle with small dogs, and she’s a master of the "play bow" to make sure everyone knows she’s a friend, not a foe. She is a dream on a walk and a proud member of the loose leash club. No pulling here just a girl who loves to stroll and take in the sights. No accidents here! She is a pro at keeping her space clean and follows a household routine perfectly. Incredibly smart, perfectly gentle, and always ready for the next ride. She is a loving explorer at heart, always ready to navigate a new hiking trail or scout out the best local coffee shop patio with you by her side. We suspect Poppy is a Belgian Malinois mix, which means she’s got the brains and the beauty! Weighing in at a sleek 45 pounds, she is that perfect medium size big enough to keep up on a run, but compact enough to easily hop in the car for a weekend getaway. Of course, with any rescue, her breed is a bit of a mystery, but her intelligence and stunning coat are 100% pure bred Good Girl. When it comes to other dogs, Poppy is a social superstar! She loves a good game of chase and is a play bow professional. She isn't just a pretty face (though that coat and those perked up ears speak for themselves!). She’s a vocal girl, but not for no reason she just loves to chat and invite her friends to join the party. Great with friends, but is just as happy to be your one and only! She would be happiest in a home with a medium energy dog who can keep up with her fun loving wrestling matches but also knows when it’s time to take a collective nap. Whether she’s sharing her favorite toys, wrestling on the couch, or inviting a buddy to play with one of her signature "are you ready to play" chirps, she is a polite and playful companion who would make an amazing addition to a multi dog household. Poppy thinks she’s the star of the show, so she’s looking for a feline free home! She’d much rather spend her time focusing on her human friends or playing "tag" with her canine buddies than worrying about what a kitty is up to. To keep everyone happy and wagging, she’s sticking to a cat free lifestyle where she can be her best, bouncy self. The ideal home for Poppy is one that matches her zest for life! Because she’s a brilliant working breed mix, she’d love an active adopter who enjoys training or outdoor adventures. She would adore a house with a yard to zoom in, but she could also be a rockstar apartment dog for a active person who treats the city as their playground. Something cute about her? She’s a talker with her paws she’ll invite you to play with the most adorable little dances! In Short: Poppy is Perfection! She is a brilliant, affectionate, and adventurous soul who is just waiting for the right person to lead the way. She’s also a bit of a home decorator when she’s feeling playful on the couch, she loves to rearrange the pillows to get her setup just right. It’s just one of the many quirky ways she brings joy and laughter to her foster home every day. She’s got the brains of a scholar and the heart of a puppy, making her the ultimate companion for a life lived out loud. Story
Revin is a gentle, sweet-natured boy with the kindest eyes and the softest personality. While he enjoys playtime like any puppy, Revin leans more toward the calm, cuddly side of life. He’s the one who will quietly come up to you, rest his little head on you, and just soak in all the love you’re willing to give. There’s something incredibly special about his calm presence—it’s comforting, warm, and so easy to fall in love with. He gets along wonderfully with others and has a very easygoing personality that would make him a great fit for many different types of homes. Revin doesn’t need to be the center of attention—he’s just happy being near his people, feeling safe, loved, and included. Of course, he still has his playful puppy moments, and when he does play, it’s absolutely adorable—but he’s just as happy curling up beside you for a nap. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/Ud_wjpnRVxM?si=TvPfD3cL1tjlkw6x At around 5 months old, Revin is still a baby with so much love to give and so many memories waiting to be made. He’s the kind of dog who will form a deep, lasting bond with his family and be a loyal, loving companion for years to come. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle soul to add to your life, Revin might just be your perfect match. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69e244f31512b4c5860d9b1c Questions? Story
Jade is the kind of dog who makes you realize just how much heart can fit into one very wiggly, very beautiful pup. She’s a young Belgian Malinois / German Shepherd mix, and she carries all the brilliance, drive, and devotion that comes with those working-breed roots wrapped up in one incredibly affectionate girl. At her core, Jade is a happy, social, people-loving dog who thrives on connection. She adores being close to her humans, leans in for affection, and will happily soak up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. Once she’s comfortable, her sweet, playful side really shines—she enjoys cuddles just as much as she enjoys a good game of fetch, and she has that endearing “all in” enthusiasm for everything she does. Watch how cute she is in her YouTube video now https://youtu.be/oSRaJttKOh4?si=DRQVrTWWotdlkd_c Jade is currently fostered in a lively home with six other dogs and two cats, and she fits right into the pack. She absolutely loves other animals and draws a lot of her confidence from being around them. In fact, she would do best in a home with another friendly, playful dog who can help guide her, keep her company, and be her playmate. She truly lights up when she has a canine friend nearby—it helps her feel grounded and happy. With cats, Jade is respectful and gentle. She’s curious and interested in interacting, so she would do best with a dog-savvy cat who can confidently set boundaries. When they do, she listens and adjusts well. She just really wants to be part of the group and share space and energy with everyone around her. Because of her breed mix, Jade is very intelligent and very driven. She’s a “doer” who thrives when she has structure, enrichment, and things to think about. Puzzle toys, training sessions, games of fetch, and daily physical activity are all things that make her feel fulfilled and balanced. Without outlets for her energy and brain, she can become frustrated, so she’s looking for a home that understands and appreciates a working dog’s needs. Jade would do best in a home with a yard where she can safely stretch her legs, run, play, and burn off some of that natural energy throughout the day. While walks and outings are wonderful, having a secure outdoor space will really help set her up for success and give her the freedom she needs to thrive. On leash, Jade is still polishing her manners. She gets very excited about seeing other dogs and may bark or pull in her eagerness to say hello and play. This isn’t from a place of reactivity or aggression—she’s simply overflowing with enthusiasm and social energy. With consistent, positive training and someone who enjoys working with dogs, she will absolutely continue to improve. In new environments, Jade can feel a bit unsure at first. She may be anxious while she settles in and looks to other animals for reassurance. Once she adjusts, her confidence grows, and her true personality—playful, loving, and loyal—comes forward beautifully. She just needs a little patience at the beginning to show how amazing she really is. Jade is also believed to be a wonderful candidate for a family environment, including homes with children, as she has such a gentle, affectionate, and social nature. Of course more testing can always be done to ensure the perfect match for everyone involved. She is not the kind of dog who fits into a low-key, “walk around the block and chill” lifestyle. She’s a companion for someone who wants a partner—someone who enjoys training, activity, adventure, and building a strong bond with their dog. In the right home, she’s going to be incredibly devoted. She bonds deeply, learns quickly, and wants nothing more than to be included in life. She is stunning, affectionate, eager, and full of potential. With structure, exercise, companionship, and love, Jade will absolutely blossom into the kind of once-in-a-lifetime dog who feels like she was meant to be by your side. Adopt her now!
