He's always raving about how sweet and loving I am, and let's not forget my impressive people skills – I can get along with any pup I meet! 🐶 I've got this knack for diffusing any tense situations with my goofy antics – whether it's rolling around, jumping over things, or wiggling my way into someone's space, I'm all about spreading those good vibes and showing everyone that life's meant to be enjoyed! 😄 Check out my personality in action: https://youtu.be/8S1E5XorCeA Sure, I may look a bit awkward sometimes with my long legs and silly behavior, but trust me, I'm as athletic as they come! I love zooming around and jumping for joy – it's like I've got springs in my paws! 🐾 And let me tell ya, my foster dad gets a kick out of watching me run – my joy is just contagious! 🏃‍♂️ But hey, I'm not just a goofball – I've got some serious house manners too! I'm crate-trained, walk like a champ on leash, and I'm all about those car rides. Plus, I adore kiddos – they're like my favorite playmates! 👶 I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can be a part of the family and go on all sorts of adventures together. Once we bond, I'll be your trusty sidekick – whether we're exploring the great outdoors or just cuddling up on the couch. Story
**Fostered in Marysville, WA and ready for meet & greets!** Introducing Tank, your perfect adventure buddy! This 5-month-old, 42 lb puppy is an instant favorite among all who meet him. With his incredibly sweet and affectionate demeanor, how could you not be a fan? Tank's nights are marked by quiet contentment as he peacefully slumbers in his crate, a testament to his growing independence and good manners. While he's still refining the art of potty training, Tank's intelligence and eagerness to please shine through as he eagerly learns and adapts to new routines. Affectionate to the core, Tank is a cuddle connoisseur, finding joy and comfort in the warmth of human companionship. His loving nature extends effortlessly to people of all ages, as well as to his furry companions, including cats and dogs. Tank's social grace knows no bounds, as he welcomes everyone he meets with open paws and a wagging tail. One of Tank's siblings took a DNA test, revealing a genetic masterpiece boasting a blend of German Shepherd Dog intelligence, Bullmastiff calmness, American Bulldog charm, and a sprinkle of other great breeds. While we can't predict the future with certainty, we estimate this delightful canine will tip the scales at a robust 75-80 pounds once fully grown. But hey, with a mix this marvelous, who needs guarantees? Raised alongside his mother, Tank has inherited her sweetness, love, and social charm, further enhanced by positive socialization experiences. Confident and happy, Tank navigates the world with a sense of ease and curiosity, embracing each new encounter with enthusiasm and joy. Trips in the car are a breeze with Tank. He loves taking car trips and will lay down quietly in the passenger seat and snooze away while you drive. He will make an excellent companion on adventures to the mountains, to the coast, or anywhere else you want to explore. He's down for any adventure! Playful by nature, Tank thrives in the company of his beloved humans, reveling in moments of shared laughter and play. Whether he's chasing a ball in the yard or simply basking in the love of his family, Tank's zest for life is palpable and infectious. In Tank, one discovers not just a puppy, but a loyal companion and cherished member of the family. With his unwavering affection and boundless spirit, Tank embodies the true essence of canine companionship, bringing love, laughter, and endless joy to all who have the pleasure of knowing him. Tank is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Story
Meet Oobie! He is a 3 year old GSD mix, around 65 lbs . Oobie is a very polite boy indoors and loves other dogs. He doesn’t jump all over people or furniture and already knows sit and down! Watch my cool tricks here! https://youtube.com/shorts/CoG5KSHThdg?feature=share4 He has a lot of your typical GSD traits, he is smart, strong, and loyal to his people. He can bark at times so probably not an apartment guy, and he would love a yard to play in! He has lived with big dogs and small dogs before. Oobie is mellow inside and happy to play with toys by himself, although fluffy toys beware, he likes to defluff! He can be protective of his people in the home so would do best with a homebody or someone who lives on land, he would not enjoy the city lifestyle. Oobie would thrive with someone familiar with the breed and would be fine in a house with other dogs or by himself. He is even living with a cat in his foster home who he gets along with! He has a great energy level and would do well with hikes on the weekends and chilling inside during the week with a daily walk around the neighborhood or running on acreage with his new family! Story
Hello everyone, I just updated my profile with videos playing with kids, cats and rabbit. Hi there! My name is PHOENIX (Happy) and here is some info about me:Breed: German ShepardAge: 3years (22/03/2021)Gender: female Weight: 66 lbsHeight: 22-1/2 inches I had been in a car accident and my leg was infected. Sadly, they could not save my leg. So now I am a tripaw. My rescuers are having an artificial leg made for me. Gentle and playful is what you will find with me. I still get around pretty good too. In fact, I am a fairly active pup. I get along well with dogs of all sizes, including small ones and even cats (I find them curious.) I find them amusing, but not necessarily all that interesting. I am smart & easily trainable, hey I'm a German Shepard, would you expect anything less? I'm a sweet girl with a faithful and loyal nature. I know you are ready for an awesome girl like me. Just waiting for your application. I'm good with kids, cats and even a rabbit. Please see my videos with cats and rabbits and kids https://youtu.be/f6VNmWQOHeU https://youtu.be/4prrQ37wQ5g https://youtu.be/dg5th_XIoNA Another vid of me: https://youtu.be/YIor50YdbTs. Energy Level: moderate to moderate-high Get along with:Dogs, yesCats, yesKids, yes Prey drive: low to low-moderate Fears: unknown, not observed Training: noneLeash skills, minimum. Will need continued patient training.House trained, no. Please be prepared to help me learn! Health notes: I am a tripaw.I have been spayed/neutered, *vaccinated & micro-chipped.  My adoption fee is $700.00 CAD + applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.  Due to ongoing limits on Vancouver flights yet, additional fees will apply if flying from another city. Unaccompanied Cargo costs within Canada: $275-$500 per dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. I will be on the first available flight, as I need to leave the Middle East as soon as possible. If a flight directly to Vancouver is not found quickly after I've found a family, the extra cost for cargo to Vancouver will not be optional.  Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. More information can be found on our website. *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordatella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.  ##1213054##

Story
Good day. My name is MARLIN (Martin) and here is a little info about me:Breed: German Shepard/Canaan dog mixAge: 6 years 8 monthsGender: MaleWeight: 56 lbsHeight: 60 cmHighlight(s): quite energetic, know basic commands, smart, happy I need a fair amount of exercise, so will be most pleased with a very active family. As you can see, I am a very smiley, happy boy. After being confiscated from a neglectful home, I went to a local shelter. I was around 1 year old then. I have been at the shelter since. It is time I find a home. I need a fairly experienced home that knows about & has experience with training.Okay, so I can be a bit choosy about who my friends are. Probably best if I am an only dog in the home. I certainly can intro to other dogs. If I like them, we'll get along fine https://youtu.be/Ua0EzZr-qNc.Since I have never lived in a home before, having a yard would be good, so I can acclimate to living inside better, by having plenty of outdoor time, where I feel most comfortable right now. I hope you are willing to give me time to understand a house is a great place to be.I have had basic training: leash walking with a halti, heel, sit, down, bed/place, in addition to exposure to other dogs. Continued training and review of what I know would be good. I'm a smart pupper, so could learn tricks too https://youtu.be/Lr8EJ2Zkc1I. Here I am calm at the vet's office: https://youtu.be/udM_Cc-MOgk. Energy Level: high I get along with:Dogs: Some. I get along with some of the other shelter dogs, but not all.Cats: NoChildren: Yes Fears: unknown/none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition. Training: yes, basic training commands and leash walkingLeash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: No, as I live in a shelter environ. Please be prepared to help me learn! Health notes:I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $700.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. ##1570722##

We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes.
