Meet Gracie 🐾 Gracie is a young German Shepherd girl, still under a year old, who is learning how to navigate the world. Like many young shepherds, she is very sensitive and can be quite anxious, but underneath that nervousness is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pup who just wants to feel safe and loved. Gracie is still learning many of the basics, including how to walk on a leash. Right now, the leash is something new and a little scary for her, so she will need a patient adopter who can help guide her through training at her own pace. With time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, she has so much potential to grow into a confident companion. Once Gracie begins to trust you, her softer side really shines. She loves cuddles and being close to the people she feels safe with, and she thrives on affection and reassurance. Building that trust is key, but once you do, she’ll happily soak up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. Gracie can be a bit particular about her food and treats. She prefers wet food and can be selective with certain snacks, but she’s always motivated by kindness, patience, and gentle care. Because of her anxious nature, Gracie would do best in a calm home with someone who understands that she will need time to adjust and learn. With the right person by her side, this sweet shepherd girl has the chance to truly blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give a shy pup the patience and love she deserves, Gracie may be the perfect match for you.
