Story
Meet Remus, a 4-year-old Wooly Husky with a heart of gold looking for a dedicated and experienced home. Remus is a gentle, sweet soul who takes a little extra time to feel safe in new environments. Because he is currently feeling a bit sensitive to touch and handling, he is searching for a quiet, patient household where he can decompress and build trust at his own pace. With his beautiful Wooly Husky coat, Remus requires an adopter who is ready to commit to frequent brushing and routine grooming care to keep his fur healthy, clean, and mat-free. Transitioning to a new home can be overwhelming, and Remus will benefit greatly from a predictable daily routine and structured guidance to help him settle in comfortably and prevent potential separation anxiety. Remus possesses a true Husky spirit, complete with a high prey drive and an eager desire to run whenever a door opens. A secure home setup with careful door management and leash-only outdoor activities will be essential to keep this handsome explorer safe. For a loving adopter who understands sensitive dogs and is ready to dedicate time, patience, and gentle encouragement, Remus will be a deeply rewarding companion. Remus is neutered, microchipped, up to date on core vaccinations (bordetella, distemper, rabies), dewormed, and current on flea/tick preventative. If you are interested in adopting Remus, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org.
