Story
Meet Carmela, a gorgeous 5-year-old girl who found herself at the shelter through no fault of her own. This sweet lady is the total package: friendly, gentle, and full of playful charm. She is ready to find a forever family to shower with love. Carmela has an excellent track record with humans of all ages and is great with kids. She’s also a social butterfly who has successfully lived with both cats and other dogs. While she loves to hang out with her canine buddies, she does enjoy a fun game of chase with feline friends, so any resident cats should be okay with a bit of playful energy! This smart girl is already well-mannered and house-ready. She seems to be fully potty trained and does great without needing a crate. Carmela already knows her basic commands and is always eager to please, especially if adventures are involved. Her absolute favorite things include going for nice walks, playing with children, and romping around with other pups. Whether you`re looking for a walking partner or a gentle family companion, Carmela is ready to fit right in. Carmela is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and fully up-to-date on all her flea and tick preventatives. She is also completely current on her core vaccinations, including Rabies, Canine Distemper, and Bordetella. She’s healthy, happy, and waiting to meet you! If you have any questions about Carmela or our adoption process, feel free to reach out at (920)-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. You can also stop by during our open hours to take a look around.

Story
Lady is full of life and has SO much love to give 🩷🐾 This sweet girl will be celebrating her very first birthday in foster care, and her biggest wish is to finally find a forever family of her own. Lady’s perfect day includes: 🌭 Hotdogs & pup cups 🚗 Car rides with the music up 🧀 Collecting her “cheese tax” 🎾 Tug-of-war and endless playtime 🐕 Running around until she’s happily worn out Lady absolutely loves other dogs and gets so excited to play. Dog park days are definitely her thing! She’s also a smart girl who responds well to commands and training. Plus, she’s kennel trained and potty trained 🙌 She does well with kids, but because she’s still young and full of energy, she’d likely do best with older kiddos rather than toddlers.

Story
Apollo thinks life is a party, but the one thing his party is missing is YOU!This handsome fella was surrendered to FVHA in January 2026 at a year old. Growing up in the shelter system is no joke! While Apollo has had a foster home to support him during this transitionary period of his life, he is ready to find a home of his own. He certainly doesn`t let life get him down. Apollo has enthusiasm for everything he involves himself in. His husky genetics make for a great active lifestyle companion - running, hiking, you name it! While his american bulldog genetics make him an expert cuddler and great lapdog (no one tell him he is kind of too big for that!)Apollo would do well with children that are sturdy enough to handle his energetic greetings and playful energy. He greatly enjoys the company of other dogs, but his exuberant play style is not a match for every dog. He has been exposed to cats in his foster home, and has made great strides towards peaceful cohabitation, slow introductions to any resident cats would be a must!Apollo has been working hard in his foster home to become a proper dog citizen. He has made outings to public places to work on impulse control, has learned basic manners (like sit and lay down), and is housebroken.Apollo is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Apollo, reach out to us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org. Thumper is shy with new people and barks about it. He has aced his training classes with Barktastic Behavior. He would probably be good with other dogs with slow introductions. Once he knows you he can be a wonderful snuggler who thinks he`s a lap dog.

Story
Hi, I'm Hank! I came all the way from Tennessee looking for a family to call my own. When you first meet me, I can be a little mellow and observant while I take in my surroundings, but once I get comfortable, my true personality shines through. I'm a big teddy bear who loves affection, giving kisses, and spending time with my people. I get along well with other dogs and would do great in a home with kids, too. Whether we're relaxing together or making new memories, I'm happy just being part of the family. If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion, I might be the perfect match for you!
