Story
Hey, I'm Inu, 3yr old Husky mix, around 55 lbs. Am I ever "Inu".... see what I did there? I am a sweet boy who is ready for my new forever home. I get along great with people of all sizes and all the other doggos. I am not a fan of cats so please, let’s not try that! I am a bigger boy so keep that in mind if you have little people cos I could knock them over, but I would make an awesome walking / running / hiking partner with the big-uns! If you think you and I might just make the perfect pairing, then please check me out asap! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Noki does wonderfully when left home alone and happily stays on the main floor, curling up in her bed and relaxing until her people return. She has anxiety around crates, but doesn’t need one, she’s always been respectful and well-mannered when given free roam. On leash, Noki is strong yet very polite. She listens well and knows her basic commands including sit, stay, come, and heel/walk nicely. Around the house, she loves to follow her favorite people from room to room, soaking up companionship. She doesn’t beg for food or counter surf, instead patiently waiting for guidance. Belly rubs are a favorite, and she’s always eager for affection. Noki communicates clearly when she needs to go out or come back in, and if you miss her cues, she’ll gently remind you with her adorable Husky “talk.” She’s gentle and sweet when meeting new people and often rolls right over for a belly rub. Once she’s comfortable, she becomes very affectionate, offering kisses and curling up right by your side. She’s not especially toy-motivated, though she has enjoyed fetch and tug at times. Her absolute favorite activities happen outdoors, especially in the snow! Noki loves snow play, chasing, hide-and-seek, and even digging snow tunnels. She looks forward to her daily routine of two 1-mile walks, one in the morning and one in the evening. Intelligent, friendly, affectionate, and loyal, Noki is a quick learner who thrives on routine. She seems to do well with other dogs but would require a no-cat home. She is currently in a only pet house and does well as the only pet in a calm, quiet household and has done very well living with a teenage child. Noki enjoys a peaceful environment and people who can give her lots of attention. One of her cutest traits is her Husky talk, she’s not much of a barker, but she loves expressing herself with her silly, chatty noises. Her gentle, loving nature balances beautifully with her adventurous spirit. Noki has a special way of making people feel truly loved, and her sweet presence leaves a lasting impression.

Story
Thumper is shy with new people and barks about it. He has aced his training classes with Barktastic Behavior. He would probably be good with other dogs with slow introductions. Once he knows you he can be a wonderful snuggler who thinks he`s a lap dog.

Story
Meet Rocky: A Handsome, Big Boy Ready for the Right Adventure!Say hello to Rocky, a magnificent 5-year-old male mixed breed weighing in at a solid 75 lbs. This striking, intelligent boy is still searching for a committed home to call his own. This sweet dog is happiest with space to stretch those legs and explore, which is why they’re looking for a home with a yard rather than an apartment. Whether it’s playing fetch, patrolling the backyard, going for long walks, or just lounging in the sun, they thrive when they have room to move and a family to share it with.Having previously lived outdoors, Rocky is still learning the ropes of indoor life. He is still working on potty training and learning to be left alone, as he prefers to be with his human companions whenever he gets the chance! Rocky is quite selfish with his humans- he prefers to be an only dog. However, our adoption counselors are open to discussion about placement with another dog. Rocky is neutered and has received core vaccinations (bordetella, canine distemper, rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. For questions about Rocky or our adoption process, please contact us at 920-733-1717 or adopt@foxvalleypets.org, and book an appointment to meet him today.
