Meet Gowoon🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * At the end of 2021, Gowoon gave birth to seven puppies at the Gimje City Shelter. She and her puppies were rescued together. All of her puppies have since gone to foster or adoptive homes, but Gowoon has remained at our center, waiting for a family of her own. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Tends to be very shy because she wasn't used to human touch, but gets much better now. Her expression is brighter and she even follows people for treats. Accepts being touched little by little woth constant training, but sudden movements may scare her and lead to defensive nipping. It is necessary to take time to touch her, so she can become accustomed to it. * With Dogs: Approaches and sniffs new dogs. Gets along well with calm dogs with similar temperaments. Likes friends who approach her quietly and gently. Recently mingles well with canine friends. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only does outdoor potty at our center. * Hygiene: Is not yet comfortable with human handling, so baths and brushing are still on hold. * Walks: Has no walking experience yet. Gets scared when someone approaches with a leash, so she refuses it for now. * Car Sickness: Is calm in the car, and sits quietly without motion sickness. * Barking: Barks when hearing loud noises outside. Also barks if she is outside alone while people are out of her sight and hears them moving around inside the kennels. * Nip: Very occasionally shows defensive nipping due to fear, but this has been decreasing over time. * Dislike: Is afraid of loud noises and people who move too quickly. It’s best to move slowly and calmly around her so she can feel safe.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Kkotbun❤️ 💙 Kkotbun's News Account: @kkotbun2_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. * Is missing one lower incisor and has a chipped lower right canine, but it doesn’t affect her eating or daily life at all! 2⃣ Rescue Story * In the fall of 2022, Kkotbun entered the Gimje City Shelter with her five puppies. Despite difficulties of raising them all on her own, this brave mom managed to nurture her babies into healthy, chubby pups. All of them have since been adopted, and now it’s Kkotbun’s turn to find her forever family. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is timid and takes some time to open her heart to new people. When she had to stay with her guardian’s friend for a few days, she quickly adapted—sleeping on the bed together and going for walks after just a day or two! Now, when strangers visit, she stays calm instead of being scared. Wags her tail for familiar people, but when she hears her guardian returning home, she still tends to hide rather than greet at the door. * With Dogs: Usually doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. Recently, she met one during a walk - stood still, sniffed and wiggled her nose, and showed curiosity. * With Cats: Tries to chase cats when encountering them during walks. Caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Feels comfortable with her alone time. Is quite independent and does well alone. When left at home with another person, she usually sleeps or lies on the bed. * Potty Training: Used to use a grass pad indoors, but lately prefers to pee on the pad and poop during outdoor walks. * Hygiene: Tolerates baths well but still feels nervous if cornered or brought into the bathroom. Is getting used to being held and can now relax in her guardian’s arms even after baths. Doesn’t enjoy brushing but endures it patiently. Is afraid of nail trimming, which can sometimes cause potty accidents. Tooth brushing is still new for her, but she is fine if her face is gently held. * Walks: Thanks to consistent practice, she wears a slip lead without resistance. May tremble or freeze when nervous, but gets excited—wagging her tail—when she sees it’s walk time. Loves exploring scents outside and enjoys walks, though she sometimes pulls the leash a bit at first from excitement. Is becoming more curious about people and other dogs she meets on walks. * Car Sickness: Won’t climb in by herself and needs to be lifted. Drools and gets tense after about 10 minutes, and if the ride lasts over 20 minutes, she may vomit. * Only barked once when she first arrived at her guardian’s home and hasn’t barked since. * Loves her kennel and feels comfortable resting inside. * Is scared of sudden loud noises and still uncomfortable being picked up by people, though she’s improving through training. Calms down if people sit down and give her a hug but gets scared if they lift her up while they’re standing. You should be at her eye-level when picking her up. * Learned 'Paw', 'Nose', and 'V' but has a 80% success rate outdoors and 10% indoors.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Dooly🦕 (It's famous Korean dinosaur character name) 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Dooly spent his puppyhood at the Gimje Shelter with his siblings, #AdogsDonor and #AdogsTtochi, after being found without their mother. When Adogs staff visited the shelter, they were so moved by the puppies wagging their tails that they decided to rescue the entire litter. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is curious about humans but quite timid, so he doesn't usually approach first. Please approach him slowly, as sudden movements may startle him. Shows curiosity and sniffs people who are sitting or have their backs turned. Occasionally, he will come close on his own to take treats. * With Dogs: Gets along well with his friends at the center. Rather than playing energetically, he prefers to relax and rest. May snap as if he would warn other dogs if there is food or treats involved. * With Cats: Watches and tries to chase cats. However, during walks, he is usually too tense to chase them even if he sees one. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he is currently living in a group environment. May require training when transitioning to a home life. * Potty Training: Currently only relieves himself outdoors. Exhibits marking behavior during walks and outdoor time. * Hygiene: Tends to avoid physical touch, so we are working on this very slowly and patiently. * Walks: Thanks to training at a school and consistent walks with volunteers, he walks very well. However, because he is easily startled, a double-leash is mandatory for safety. Tends to pull slightly to maintain distance from the person walking him. May try to dart away if startled by people or passing cars. * May show mouthing or snapping behavior if forced to do something against his will. * Rarely barks. * Loves treats! Will come close to people to accept a tasty snack. * Is still uncomfortable with physical touch and prefer not to be petted for now.

Meet Taeyeon💙 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * Taeyeon was brought to the Gimje City Shelter with her sibling when she was a puppy. Unfortunately, her sibling passed away due to parvovirus, leaving Taeyeon alone at the shelter. Adogs stepped in and rescued her. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is still not fully comfortable with human touch. Tends to bark at unfamiliar people and avoid being petted. It would be better to give her time to adjust at her own pace. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with other dogs at our center without any issues. * Separation Anxiety: Since she has never been alone, her reaction to being alone is unknown. * Potty Training: Does only pottying outdoors at our center. Would need to be trained from the start if adopted. * Walks: Is still wary, so she tends to be on guard during walks. * Grooming: Accepted grooming well at a dog training school. However, her reaction is not exactly confirmed as she hasn't experienced grooming at our center. * Car Sickness: Rides very well without motion sickness. * Biting: Tends to bite defensively when people try to touch her. * Barking: Is still awkward and scared of people, so she barks when seeing them.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Yunjeong😊 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * In the freezing cold of January 2021, Yunjeong was living in the Gimje City Shelter with her young puppies. Sadly, she lost all her puppies due to parvo and was rescued alone. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is quite timid and doesn’t usually approach first. However, if you take her slow, she accepts touch without big issue. * With Dogs: Tends to prefer staying alone to getting together with doggy friends. As long as other dogs don’t bother her, she’s generally okay. However, if she has to share her space where she sleeps and rests, she can show significant aggression toward other dogs. So, she must be kept separated. * With Cats: Didn't respond to cats during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. Needs training in a home environment. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. * Hygiene: Although she’s timid and tends to lie down, she stays calm during baths, drying, and brushing. Resists a bit when her paws are touched before nail trimming. However, she handles it well once it starts. * Walks: Tends to pull on the leash in the beginning. In frightening situations, she either lies down or circles around the person. * While she shows no biting behavior toward people, she may become aggressive toward other dogs when unsupervised in a shared space. Therefore, it’s important to keep her separated from other dogs.
