Meet Gowoon🧡 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. 2.) Rescue Story * At the end of 2021, Gowoon gave birth to seven puppies at the Gimje City Shelter. She and her puppies were rescued together. All of her puppies have since gone to foster or adoptive homes, but Gowoon has remained at our center, waiting for a family of her own. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Used to be very shy because she wasn't used to human touch, but she's much better now. Her expression is brighter and she even follows people for treats. Accepts being touched little by little, but sudden movements may scare her and lead to defensive nipping. It is necessary to take time to touch her, so she can become accustomed to it. * With Dogs: Gets along well with calm dogs with similar temperaments. Likes friends who approach her quietly and gently. Recently mingles well with canine friends. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Currently only does outdoor potty at our center. * Hygiene: Is not yet comfortable with human handling, so baths and brushing are still on hold. * Walks: Has no walking experience yet. Gets scared when someone approaches with a leash, so she refuses it for now. * Car Sickness: Is calm in the car, and sits quietly without motion sickness. * Barks when hearing loud noises outside. Also barks if she is outside alone while people are out of her sight and hears them moving around inside the kennels. * Very occasionally shows defensive nipping due to fear, but this has been decreasing over time. * Is afraid of loud noises and people who move too quickly. It’s best to move slowly and calmly around her so she can feel safe.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Kkotbun❤️ 💙 Kkotbun's News Account: @kkotbun2_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and fully recovered from heartworm. * Is missing one lower incisor and has a chipped lower right canine, but it doesn’t affect her eating or daily life at all! 2⃣ Rescue Story * In the fall of 2022, Kkotbun entered the Gimje City Shelter with her five puppies. Despite difficulties of raising them all on her own, this brave mom managed to nurture her babies into healthy, chubby pups. All of them have since been adopted, and now it’s Kkotbun’s turn to find her forever family. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is timid and takes some time to open her heart to new people. When she had to stay with her guardian’s friend for a few days, she quickly adapted—sleeping on the bed together and going for walks after just a day or two! Now, when strangers visit, she stays calm instead of being scared. Wags her tail for familiar people, but when she hears her guardian returning home, she still tends to hide rather than greet at the door. * With Dogs: Usually doesn’t pay much attention to other dogs. Recently, met one during a walk - stood still, sniffed and wiggled her nose, and showed curiosity. * With Cats: Tries to chase cats when encountering them during walks. Caution is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Feels comfortable with her alone time. Is quite independent and does well alone. When left at home with another person, she usually rests or naps. * Potty Training: Used to use a grass pad indoors, but lately prefers to pee on the pad and poop during outdoor walks. * Hygiene: Tolerates baths well but still feels nervous if cornered or brought into the bathroom. Is getting used to being held and can now relax in her guardian’s arms even after baths. Doesn’t enjoy brushing but endures it patiently. Is afraid of nail trimming, which can sometimes cause potty accidents. Tooth brushing is still new for her, but she does fine if her face is gently held. * Walks: Thanks to consistent practice, she wears a slip lead without resistance. May tremble or freeze when nervous, but gets excited—wagging her tail—when she sees it’s walk time. Loves exploring scents outside and enjoys walks, though she sometimes pulls the leash a bit at first from excitement. Is becoming more curious about people and other dogs she meets on walks. * Car Sickness: Won’t climb in by herself and needs to be lifted. Drools and gets tense after about 10 minutes, and if the ride lasts over 20 minutes, she may vomit. * Barking: Only barked once when she first arrived at her guardian’s home and hasn’t barked since. * Likes: Loves her kennel and feels comfortable resting inside. * Dislikes: Is scared of sudden loud noises and still uncomfortable being picked up by people, though she’s improving through training. Calms down if people sit down and give her a hug but gets scared if they lift her up while they’re standing. You should be at her eye-level when picking her up. * Tricks: Learned 'Paw', 'Nose', and 'V' but has a 80% success rate outdoors and 10% indoors.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Dooly🦕 (It's famous Korean dinosaur character name) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_rescue 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * Dooly came to the Gimje City Shelter as a young puppy without his mother, together with Adogs' rescued dogs, Doner and Ddochi. When Adogs staff visited the shelter, the sight of the puppies wagging their tails touched their hearts — and Adogs decided to rescue all of them together. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is curious about people but doesn’t approach first due to his timidity. May get startled if someone moves too suddenly, so it’s best to approach him gently. Sometimes, gathers courage to come closer when treats are involved. * With Dogs: Gets along well with his Adogs friends. Is not overly playful — prefers to relax quietly and watch the world around him. * With Cats: Hasn’t met any cats yet, so his reaction is unknown. * Separation Anxiety: Currently lives at our center, so it’s uncertain. May need training from scratch once he starts living in a home environment. * Potty Training: Only goes potty outdoors at our center. * Walks: Trained at school and regularly walks with center volunteers. Does very well but can get scared easily, so using a double leash is a must for safety. * Biting: Has never shown any biting behavior. * Barking: Rarely barks. * Likes: Loves treats! Will gladly come closer to take them gently from your hand. * Dislikes: Is still uncomfortable with physical touch and tends to avoid hands reaching toward him.

Currently being treated for Malassezia in the ear. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Dorang was rescued from a dogslaughter farm in Gunsan along with #AdogsDodam and #AdogsDodo. She lived in constant fear, witnessing her friends being put down one by one. When finally rescued, Dorang quietly shed tears as if releasing all the fear she had endured. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Due to past trauma, she is very cautious around strangers and fears them. It would be better to allow her to have her own time until she gets trust with people than approaching her first. Allows touch on all parts of her body when people she trusts try to do. Is so affectionate that she wags her tail and shows her belly to be petted when making eye contact. * With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs at our center, particularly good with puppies. * With Cats: Doesn’t care that much about cats when seeing them. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as she currently lives in a group setting at our center. Doesn’t show any symptom of separation anxiety so far. * Potty Training: Uses pee pads well indoors and is also comfortable with outdoor potty. * Walks: Enjoys walking without pulling on the leash. * Hygiene: Accepts brushing well and needs a neck collar when she has toenails trimmed. * Car Sickness: Rests comfortably in the moving car without motion sickness. * Is impossible for strangers to touch her. Sometimes nips as a defessive sign at even familiar people when they do something she does not like, while touching her. * Is scared of and barks defensively at strangers.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Yunjeong😊 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and fully recovered from heartworm. 2⃣ Rescue Story * In the freezing cold of January 2021, Yunjeong was living in the Gimje City Shelter with her young puppies. Sadly, she lost all her puppies due to parvo and was rescued alone. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is quite timid and doesn’t usually approach first. However, if you take her slow, she accepts touch without big issue. * With Dogs: Tends to prefer staying alone to getting together with doggy friends. As long as other dogs don’t bother her, she’s generally okay. However, if she has to share her space where she sleeps and rests, she can show significant aggression toward other dogs. So, she must be kept separated. * With Cats: Didn't respond to cats during walks. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. Needs training in a home environment. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as she resides with other dogs at our center. * Hygiene: Although she’s timid and tends to lie down, she stays calm during baths, drying, and brushing. Resists a bit when her paws are touched before nail trimming. However, she handles it well once it starts. * Walks: Tends to pull on the leash in the beginning. In frightening situations, she either lies down or circles around the person. * While she shows no biting behavior toward people, she may become aggressive toward other dogs when unsupervised in a shared space. Therefore, it’s important to keep her separated from other dogs.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Buddle🌿 (It means willow in Korean) 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Heartworm negative. * The patella on both hind legs are weak and need consistent care. They may become dislocated if he runs quickly or kicks his hind legs after pottying so caution should be exercised. 2.) Rescue Story * Buddle was sitting idly in a wire cage with holes underneath, lifted off the ground, at a rural house in Damyang, Jeollanam-do. Noticing that dogs in that house disappeared and were replaced frequently, an Adogs volunteer could no longer turn away and rushed to rescue him. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Likes people and actively shows interest in them but avoids your hands if you actively try to pet him. Quite likes being petted once you actually get ahold of him, but doesn’t completely let his guard down. Although he’s curious about people, he growls or barks out of fear if he seems someone making large movements or holding and shaking something in their hand. With familiar people, he’s an affectionate cutie that chases them around, lies down near them, and asks to be petted by licking them. * With Dogs: Hasn’t shared his living space with other dogs at the Center yet, so his reaction is unclear. * With Cats: Gets overexcited and tries to chase cats when encountering them. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear, since he’s living in a communal environment at the Center. * Potty Training: Only potties outdoors since he’s currently living at the Center. * Hygiene: Accepts any grooming nicely when caught! * Walks: Is receiving training, but pulls on the leash. Wants to chase after animals he encounters on walks. When seeing other dogs barking or being hostile, he copies that behavior and tries to charge at them. So he’s getting trained to sit and wait while other dogs pass by until they’re out of sight. * Car Sickness: Is scared of getting in a car. Trembles and drools a little at first, but becomes fine after a while. * Biting: When another dog tries to take his treat, barks, or growls at him, he shows aggression. * Barking: Whines if he wants to be taken out of his kennel, as if telling you to open the door faster! If he encounters a dog barking or being on guard while on a walk, he also barks. * Likes: Really likes dolls and toys so much that he always has one in his mouth and begs to play tug! Enjoys rolling around on the grass. * Dislikes: Is scared of getting in a car, and tries to run away by taking off his leash or harness. Double leashes are a must and extra care is needed. Is scared of large movements, and people who are holding things such as canes. * Tricks: Can ‘sit’ when he wants something. Previously, he could only sit, but now he sits and has also learned to make eye contact.
