Story
Luna is a spunky 5 year old, spayed female Shiba Inu that was found wandering in PA 2 years ago. She was spayed, microchipped, housebroken, and crate trained, but her old owners claimed they rehomed her and did not want her back. My family took her in and realized she’s very affectionate and playful with adults and LOVES to travel and hike, but unfortunately she’s always been reactive with our other dog and cats. She would thrive as an only dog in an adult-only home, and unfortunately that is not something we are able to provide. She loves a good bully stick and a nylabone and will do just about anything for cheese. She’s a wonderful girl and she just needs a new home with better accommodations for her to thrive.

✨Meet Yuki!✨ Yuki came to us after being found as a stray by our friends GoodBoy Dog Recovery. He braved extreme temps and hunger for 10 days in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. GoodBoy Dog Recovery was contacted about him and responded immediately - bringing him to safety from the cold using their thermal drone! Yuki is a 1 year old Shiba Inu who is ready for his forever home! He's decompressing still and has yet to come out of his shell fully, but with some patience and trust, he's destined to be an amazing companion! He's a young dog that will require a family up to the task of providing him the ample physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require. ✨Meet Yoshi!✨ Yoshi is a 5-year-old Shiba Inu mix who came into us as a surrender from a commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy Mill) in Lancaster County. Yoshi had a very difficult life before coming to us, being used as a breeder dog his entire life. He is shut down at this time but is slowly starting to give us his trust. We are confident he will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands his past and gives him the time he needs to trust them and his new surroundings. Yoshi loves other animals, and will thrive in a home with at least one other dog. Adopting a puppy mill survivor is life-changing—for you and them. For these dogs, everything is new and often overwhelming: people, houses, stairs, leashes, food bowls, collars, toys, TVs, ovens, doorways, pavement…the list goes on. They need adopters who can move slowly, be patient, keep expectations reasonable, and provide the understanding and tools they need to grow into happy, confident companions. Patience, positive reinforcement, and understanding are key!
