Jayda was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She was covered in fleas and was missing a large part of her fur due to having such a bad case of fleas along with a secondary skin infection. She also had a severe yeast infection in her ears. She has since been treated for the fleas, skin infection, and ear infection and is feeling much better! Jayda has been a wonderful girl during her treatment and is now ready to find her loving forever home! She will need someone that has experience with the Shiba Inu breed. She would do best in a home without small children. Jayda is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, Heartworm/Lyme tested (negative), and microchipped. Savannah is the best family dog. She loves everyone/all ages, and is great with dogs and cats. She is fun and playful and well mannered. Savannah is just the perfect size at 30 lbs and 2 to 3 years old at most. This girl is a rare find in rescue and a must meet, for she will steal your hear for sure. An experienced home and proper fencing are very important. Please open your hearts and home to this girl - you will be so glad you did... LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health. We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process. All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit. We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs. Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility. They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily. All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595). Betty is a sweet 2-year-old, 30-pound Shiba Inu mix with a gentle heart and a playful side. She’s great with kids, fully housetrained, and crate trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. Betty does well with other dogs and has shown she can coexist peacefully with cats. On walks, she does pretty well on a leash and enjoys getting outside. At home, her favorite game is fetch—once she’s comfortable, her playful personality really shines. Betty can be a little shy at first and prefers slow, calm introductions to new people, but she is not aggressive and warms up with patience and kindness. Betty would do best with a family who understands that good things take time and is ready to give her the love and reassurance she deserves. In return, she’ll be a loyal, fun-loving companion.
