Hi, my name is Foxy. I am quite adorable and ready for a forever home. Typical to my breed, I can be very shy around new people. It takes me a little to warm up and trust you, but once I do I am very affectionate. I am very housebroken and really enjoy the company of other animals. I`ve never been around kids, but probably wouldn`t mind if they were older (teens and up). I`m still adjusting to the shelter, but if you have time to let me come out of my shell, I can show you what a great pal I can be. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. Lindola is a 1 year old spayed female Shiba Inu who weighs 18.4 lbs. Lindola was surrendered to All 4 Paws from a breeding kennel after she was no longer wanted. Learning how to dog in her foster home, Lindola is experiencing new things every day. She seems very fond of human affection but will also keep to herself sometimes. Being in a home is a new experience for her so she will need a family willing to be patient with her. She is learning her house manners and seems intelligent. Shibas are known to be fiery and confident - we can't wait to see that side of her shine! Lindola has been good with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind their company. She'd love having a big fenced in yard to enjoy as she loves to be outside, basking in the sunshine. In the right home we have no doubt Lindola will flourish and become a wonderful companion! You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat.
