Story
Pebbles came to us when her human mom passed away and the owners son could no longer care for her. She is 12-13 years old and 9-10 lbs. She will require a patient adopter willing to give her time to settle in as she can be a bit of an anxious girl in unfamiliar situations. Pebbles has learned the potty routine at her foster home but it did take awhile. Pebbles is a healthy girl and got a dental cleaning while in the rescue from which she fully recovered. Pebbles would do best in a home where someone is there most of the time. Pebbles does ok in a crate though also can free roam in the home. She is not really used to the leash so would do better with a small yard. Pebbles gets along with cats and dogs but may not do well in a home with higher energy small children but would likely be ok with older respectful children. She is not a fan of grooming so an adopter will be willing to manage that behavior. Pebbles is an independent girl and not much of a lap dog. Story
Louie was purchased from a private person, found out he was only no more than 5 weeks old when we got him. Birthday July 5 2021. He has not gotten along with our oldest dog for a while, he is going to be 10 yrs old. He has no issues with my sisters dogs when we visit them not or with our second dog. My daughter brought her new dog home and he eventually accepted the new dog but his bullying of our oldest is worse. He always gets very verbal when we are gone and when we get home. He will let you know if you have someone approaching your home. He is I Independent,likes affection but not have to be on your lap all the time. Good sleeper in kennel or in bed with you. He is used to being groomed but prefers not to be brushed. Likes to chase birds and lizards, plays fetch, likes his toys and chewy toys. Kennel trained. Uses doggy door. He has never been around kids so not sure what he would be like. Love;s car rides. Has been camping he is pretty good off leash in wilderness.

🐾💙 Hi… I’m Sangi. 💙🐾 (And I’ve been waiting for you.) Not long ago, I had everything. A home. A routine. A human I loved with my whole heart. Then one day… my world stopped. 😔💔 My owner suddenly passed away, and just like that, my son Carino and I lost everything. We didn’t understand why we had to leave our home — only that the life we knew was gone. Through no fault of our own, we were left with nowhere to go. I’m the dad. I tried to be brave. 🐾 But inside, my heart was broken. Thankfully, angels stepped in. ✨ Paws Without Borders and the most incredible foster opened their arms and gave us safety when we had nothing. Since then, I’ve been learning how to trust again, how to relax, how to believe that good things can still happen. 🤍 And guess what? I love the good things. 🧸 Toys? Yes please. 🤗 Belly rubs? Absolutely. 🛋️ Cozy naps and quiet moments? That’s my love language. I’m a gentle, soulful little guy who has been through a lot… and I think I’d really shine as someone’s one-and-only. I’ve spent my life caring for others — now I’m ready to be the one who’s cherished and spoiled. ✨ I’m doing great in foster care: 🐾 Crate trained 🐾 Potty pad pro 🐾 Learning new routines 🐾 Building confidence every single day Men still make me a little nervous — but I’m trying. I even walked up to my foster dad for pets and belly rubs (and I kinda loved it). Progress feels good. 💙 🐶 A little about me: • 4-year-old neutered male Shih Tzu mix • ~20 lbs of love • Good with small and large female dogs • Not a fan of large male dogs • Unsure about cats • May be happiest as an only dog, soaking up all the attention 🌟 Carino and I can be adopted together… but it’s okay if our journeys look different. What matters most is that we both find love again. 🐾 I’ve already lost my person once.
