Story
We’ve had our sweet girl since she was 9 wks. She is now 7 yrs. She was a loving, cuddly, happy baby and has been a wonderful companion for most of her life. She has a history of Valley Fever affecting her right hip confirmed by X-rays in 11/2023. I don't know the current condition of her hip and believe a veterinary evaluation would be important. I am a single mother needing to return to work and haven't been able to keep up with her medical care. Recently, she has developed significant anxiety and has become defensive when startled or handled unexpectedly. She has bitten when someone has tried to pick her up quickly or made sudden movements toward her. I believe pain may be contributing, but this has not been medically confirmed. For her safety, I believe she needs a quiet, adult only home without children or other pets, with someone patient and experienced with anxious dogs. We want to find a loving home where she can feel secure and be the sweet girl we know she can be.

Story
This is my wonderful Bailey (I like to call her baileypoo) she is a sweet wonderful dog. She adores kids and play great with them she never snaps and she was always raised around kids. She can handle her hair being pull by curious toddlers and she won’t snap unless her tail is pulled but it has to be pretty aggressive. She is great during bath time although she does try to hide but other then that once you get her in she’s set! She likes to eat apples and carrots as well as peanut butter:) She loves to play and loves to growl while playing. She never randomly barks unless she believes someone is at the door! She is scared of the vacuum and any loud popping sounds. She loves to sleep at the door way to keep you safe. I love her very much but unfortunately cannot afford to take care of her anymore nor have the proper time for her, my mother also no longer wants a dog in the house. I’ve had her since she was 3 months and she is now 8 years old. I want her to go to a good loving home!
