Hi there ☀️ I’m **Margret**, a 7-year-old Lab/Poodle mix with a permanent smile and a heart full of sunshine.
If you’re looking for the perfect mix of *walking buddy* and *professional lounger*, I might just be your girl.
I’m sweet, friendly, playful, and wonderfully laid back. I absolutely love going for walks — I can keep up and truly enjoy getting out and about. But once we’re home? You’ll likely find me stretched out in the sun, soaking up rays like it’s my full-time job. Sunbathing is one of my greatest talents.
I’m:
* Crate trained (I even go in on my own!)
* Potty trained
* Leash trained
I understand “come” and “stay” (mostly 😉), and I’m working on polishing up commands like sit and lay down. I’m eager to keep learning with a little patience and consistency.
My perfect day includes:
A nice walk, some outdoor lounging time, a cozy nap, and — very importantly — a good hug with an armpit scratch. Yes, I said armpit scratch. It’s elite-tier affection, and I highly recommend you get on board.
While I’m dog-friendly with big dogs, I can get a little overwhelmed and may snip if I’m feeling unsure. Because of that, I would likely thrive best as the **only dog in the home**, where I can relax and not feel overstimulated. With more time I may continue to adjust, but for now I’d love a calm environment where I can fully settle in.
My ideal home would have:
* A backyard (fenced is wonderful!)
* The ability for me to lounge outside and sunbathe
* Someone who enjoys both walks *and* couch time
I’m truly an easygoing girl. I can keep up on adventures, but I’m just as happy being a couch potato by your side. I don’t need chaos — just consistency, comfort, and someone who appreciates a gentle, smiling companion.
If you’re ready for a loyal, sunshine-loving best friend who will happily walk with you and then nap at your feet… I’m waiting. 🌼🐾
Adoption FEE: $450 which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
