You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Dixie!  I’m a sweet, gentle girl who came to rescue with my little family after we were found along the highway. I spent my days raising my two puppies and making sure they were safe, and now that they’re growing up, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own. The people here say I have a way of winning hearts the moment you meet me. I’m calm, quiet, and easy to love. I’m not much of a barker, and I get along wonderfully with all the other dogs I’ve met. I still have some things to learn about living inside a home, but I do seem to understand how to use a doggie door already. No one is quite sure yet how I do with kids or cats, but everyone agrees that I have a very gentle, loving demeanor. I’m already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto, so I’m all ready for my next adventure. My vet did say I have a grade I heart murmur, but I am otherwise healthy and you can read about heart murmurs at Heart Murmurs in Dogs and Cats - Veterinary Partner - VIN https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952593&sx=316298060&n=1 My adoption fee is $500 please apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to my breed, I will need regular brushing and grooming.  Right now I’m in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Moe! Moe is a beautiful little white Maltipoo with a gentle spirit and a heart ready to bond with the right family. Born around March 11, 2025, this sweet boy weighs 10.8 pounds, making him the perfect size for lap snuggles and companionship. Moe came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so the big world can feel a little overwhelming at first. Because of this, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him calmly and give him a few gentle pets, you can almost see the moment he relaxes—then he quickly becomes your loyal little friend. He gets along great with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He will need to go to a home with another companion dog to help him feel comfortable and confident. Moe’s best friend here is Mitchell, and they would love to be adopted together. With a patient and loving family who will give him time to settle in, he will blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion. Moe is still learning some of the basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will catch on quickly.
