Story
Cash is a 2.5 yr old Shih Poo...he is a wonderful, cuddly dog. He is house trained but may have a few accidents from time to time. He loves to play fetch and cuddle on the couch to wach television. We rescued him in May of this year. Unfortunately once we got him home we realized that he had been exposed to some trauma. He gets a bit anxious going outside for walks. We've had a trainer come to help us through this as we LOVE Cash, but just don"t have the time to dedicate to him now. The trainer recommended that he be in a home with kids or another dog. We want the best for him. Contact us if you have a loving home.

Ebony and Ivory are a bonded pair looking for a forever home together.Ebony (14 lbs.) and Ivory (8 lbs.) were local strays. They were in terrible shape when found and horribly matted.Now that these sweet girls are safe with AHF, they`re looking and feeling so much better. Ivory loves to cuddle, and Ebony is more playful but loves cuddling too. They`re both very loving. We think Ivory is a maltese mix and Ebony may be a schnauzer/shih tzu mix.Both girls walk on leash. They do not get crated when their foster leaves the house and do fine confined to a large room. They get along with the other dogs in their foster home and have been friendly with kids they`ve met at adoption events. Hi, I’m Scruffy the little dog with a big attitude and an even bigger comeback story. Before rescue, I was a local stray fending for myself, and honestly? It shows. My fur was one giant matted disaster, and I had to be completely shaved down just to start over. Physically, I felt better right away. Emotionally? …Yeah, not so much. That messy coat was basically my armor, and suddenly I felt way too exposed for my liking.So yes, I can be a little… particular. I don’t love being touched by people I don’t know, and I’m not the type to pretend I like you right away just to be polite. I need time, space, and someone who doesn’t take it personally when I act like a tiny grumpy old man trapped in a cute dog body. ??BUT once I decide you’re cool? I trot around with my proud little prance, I’m great on walks, I’m crate trained, potty trained, and I coexist just fine with other dogs who respect that I am, in fact, the main character.I’m not here for chaotic homes or tiny humans who want to squeeze me. I need an adult or older-kid household that appreciates a dog with boundaries, confidence, and a little bit of spice. If you’re looking for a super clingy lap dog, that’s not me. If you want a loyal companion with personality, charm, and just the right amount of attitude?
