Hi friends! I'm Horace, the ultimate companion for anyone seeking a calm, loving presence at home. I'm a sweet adult boy, happiest when I'm by my human's side—whether they’re relaxing on the couch, heading up the stairs, or settling in for the night. Could you become my human? I'm a true “shadow dog” who will gladly snuggle up with you, I'll even sleep on your bed if you let me!
I'm pretty low-key: I'm content to lounge around and soak up your affection. I'm not interested in roughhousing with other dogs or chasing toys on my own, but I’ll happily play fetch if you’re up for it. I'm friendly with other dogs and children, but I prefer a calm environment. I'm not a big fan of rowdy pups. I haven't met cats up close, but I've seen them through the window without making too much fuss.
You can rest assured that I'm house trained, leash and crate trained, and I sleep soundly through the night. I'm easy to handle for grooming and am not bothered by household noises or thunderstorms. I also travel well in the car, settling in quickly (though you might hear me make a short whine).
Recently neutered and with a fresh dental, I'm ready for my next chapter. I’d be a wonderful match for someone looking for a gentle, loyal companion—especially seniors or anyone with a quieter home. If you’re looking for a devoted friend who will always be by your side, I'm excited to meet you!
