The Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix, often called a Shorkie, is a small but spirited companion that blends the affectionate, gentle nature of the Shih Tzu with the bold, lively personality of the Yorkshire Terrier. These dogs are typically loyal, playful, and thrive on being close to their people. Shorkies can be a bit stubborn, but their intelligence and eagerness to please make them trainable with patience and consistency.
