Jazzy is a senior shihztu. Her mom is military and is traveling more now so Jazzy is now needing a family who has the time to care for her senior needs. Jazzy loves being outside but does have cataracts so she must be watched or she will wonder away. Jazzy is really sweet and sleeps most of the day. Mom would love to stay in touch and help as much as she can as she has had her since the 5th grade.

Please read the entire bio for this rescue, it will provide all the information that one needs to decide if they would like to apply to adopt from SCMR.Sophie Mae   Adoption fee:  $200.00   You know what they say, the older the vintage, the sweeter the wine! Sophie Mae is a dainty little 14 year old poodle girl who weighs around 10 pounds and is as sweet as they come. She likes to snooze in a comfy bed but she likes to go outside and run around too. She is well house trained. She gets along with other dogs and likes all people. Her heart and lungs are clear and strong. She's had a dental and has been fully vetted. Sophie's right eye is a bit sunken and she is blind in it. But it is not perforated and does not need to be removed. She just gets some ointment in it twice a day. She has a cataract in the left eye but still sees well enough to get around just fine. You wouldn't even know there was any problem. Sophie Mae loves her Life's Abundance kibble with some green beans and a little wet food. Seniors are so special. If you can open your heart and home to this sweet senior girl, she will bring you many blessings.   Fee: $200.00 Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences.
