We recently took in a nursing poodle mom, Del, along with her newborn puppies after she was found roaming as a stray. No one came forward to reclaim her, which surprised us—Del is incredibly well‑behaved and gentle. She did arrive with heavy matting, so we aren’t sure how long she had been out on her own. Despite everything, she proved to be a wonderful mother: nurturing, patient, and so sweet. Her puppies have inherited her gentle, bashful personalities.This litter is themed after the TV show The Way Home.Elliot is the little boy. The four little girls are Alice, Katherine, Evelyn, and SuzannaThe puppies are currently about 7 weeks old and weigh around 3 lbs. They are fully weaned from their mom and enjoy a mixed diet of dry kibble and wet food. Their adoption fee is $800 each. Del is a 12‑lb poodle, and while we don’t know who the father is, we expect he was also a small breed.These pups are still very young, so they are not yet house‑trained, leash‑trained, or crate‑trained. With love, patience, and proper socialization (after vetting is complete), they’ll thrive in homes with other furry friends.What’s included in the adoption fee:4 puppy booster vaccinesMicrochipFecal exam (and full treatment if needed)Rabies vaccine at 15 weeksSpay/neuter between 10–12 weeksMonthly flea/tick prevention while in our careFree wellness exam within 7–10 days post‑adoption (we cover any treatment needed)This is up to 6 FREE vet visits (including exams!)Adopters must live in Tarrant County or within 30 minutes of our facility. We are currently having issues with our adoption inquiry webform. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment to visit with an animal or multiple animals, please email us directly at info@animalhope.org or call us 817-984-1129 between 12 pm and 6 pm.Kenzo is still available for adoption, and his adoption fee is $300. He’s an 8‑year‑old Shih Tzu who weighs about 9lbs—a little guy looking for a calm and loving place to call home.Kenzo was surrendered to us due to new babies in the home, which caused him anxiety. Since arriving, he has shown that he does not like other dogs and does not respond well to correction. He’s an active old man. Our veterinary team noted that Kenzo has a heart murmur, but he does not require medication for it at this time. Otherwise, he has been fully cleared as healthy and is ready for his forever family 🏡💛. Because of this sensitive nature, Kenzo would do best in a calmer home with no young children.Please note: Since we don’t observe our animals in home settings, we cannot guarantee potty training. Each pet may need time, patience, and guidance to adjust to a new routine.Every animal adopted from us receives:Spay/neuter surgeryMicrochipUpdated vaccinationsBlood and fecal testing (with treatment if needed)Flea/tick and heartworm preventionA free wellness exam within 7–10 days of adoptionTo adopt, you must:Be at least 21 years oldLive within 1 hour of our facilityDo you have any questions, or would you like to set an appointment to meet Kenzo and see if he’s the perfect fit for your home?
