Story
Meet Kronk! Oh! Well, hello there, my name is Kronk, and I'm so pleased to meet you. I was recently brought in to animal control as a golden oldie, and I was one hot mess! I needed to be shaved down because I was so matted. I'm working on getting my skin healthy, so I'm not quite so itchy anymore. I'm just a little guy, at 16 pounds, and I need to gain a few pounds. I love food, though, even if I do need the flavors switched up once in a while. Who wants to eat the same thing day after day anyway? I get along with other dogs quite well, and I go outside to potty. I haven't met any kids or cats, but I love humans, and if you have older, teen aged kids, I could live with them. I found out that I'm what they call blind, and I don't hear so well anymore, so little kiddos might be a little much for me. Being that I'm older, I have a bit of a wonky gait, so I take some meds for arthritis, whatever that is. I'm really good about taking my meds, and that includes the ones I take to keep my eyes clean! Foster mom says I'm the bestest boy! I really enjoy wandering in the fenced-in yard here in my foster home. It lets me use my sniffer, and it keeps me safe at the same time. Even though I can't see a darn thing, that doesn't stop me from always being able to find my human if they're in a different room. I really like being close to my people, especially if that means I'll get pet by them! I would make a good snuggle buddy, too! Now I'm just looking for my forever home with my forever people. I hope you have a lap that need to be kept warm! *Kronk is being fostered in the Green Bay area. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Get ready to fall in love with Slinky! My name is Slinky and I am a goofy, adorable 25-lb, golden oldie, poodle mix that loves attention and cuddles! I’m happy to be as close to my people as possible and am happiest curled up next to them. I am dog and cat friendly and while I don’t currently live with children, it’s believed I am family friendly since I love to engage and play with toys and request frequent belly rubs. I have great house manners, I am learning my new environment quickly and am doing great on going potty outside when on a consistent schedule. If my foster family will be away for awhile then I’m happy to wear a belly band as I gain more confidence. While I am friendly, I previously lived with a dog that injured my leg. I’m currently taking Gabapentin to make me feel better and have no issues taking my medicine. I certainly don’t hold a grudge and continue to be excited to meet new human and canine friends while on walks! I’m just happy to prance and show off my leash skills and wag my tail :) I’m so excited about finding a family that makes me feel safe and loved so I can love you right back twice as much. If you are ready for love from a calm, pretty boy; look no further than me! *Slinky is being fostered in Monroe, WI Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Meet Mulan! Age: Senior Weight: 15lbs Breed: Shih tzu Good with: cats and small dogs (no kids) House trained: yes Crate trained: no, does not require a crate when left alone Special needs: prefers minimal stairs Mulan is a sweet and well mannered pup who is looking for a soft place to land. She’s trusted in her foster home and will join you on the couch when invited, but this independent lady is happy to be curled up at your feet or on your lap. She walks well on a leash and is happy to explore the neighborhood with you but prefers there aren’t too many stairs inside the home. She loves to have her ears rubbed and enjoys the company of adults but has some resource guarding and does not enjoy her face being touched so she requires a home without kids. This gorgeous gal is ready for her forever family, could this be you?
