Through no fault of our own, our whole world changed. 😭💔 But here’s the hopeful part… ✨ Thanks to rescue and an amazing foster family, I’ve been wrapped in love, care, and patience. I’m fully vetted, learning routines, and discovering that life can be kind again. 🐾💙 Hi… I’m Sangi. 💙🐾 (And I’ve been waiting for you.) Not long ago, I had everything. A home. A routine. A human I loved with my whole heart. Then one day… my world stopped. 😔💔 My owner suddenly passed away, and just like that, my son Carino and I lost everything. We didn’t understand why we had to leave our home — only that the life we knew was gone. Through no fault of our own, we were left with nowhere to go. I’m the dad. I tried to be brave. 🐾 But inside, my heart was broken. Thankfully, angels stepped in. ✨ Paws Without Borders and the most incredible foster opened their arms and gave us safety when we had nothing. Since then, I’ve been learning how to trust again, how to relax, how to believe that good things can still happen. 🤍 And guess what? I love the good things. 🧸 Toys? Yes please. 🤗 Belly rubs? Absolutely. 🛋️ Cozy naps and quiet moments? That’s my love language. I’m a gentle, soulful little guy who has been through a lot… and I think I’d really shine as someone’s one-and-only. I’ve spent my life caring for others — now I’m ready to be the one who’s cherished and spoiled. ✨ I’m doing great in foster care: 🐾 Crate trained 🐾 Potty pad pro 🐾 Learning new routines 🐾 Building confidence every single day Men still make me a little nervous — but I’m trying. I even walked up to my foster dad for pets and belly rubs (and I kinda loved it). JELLIE's is a sweet 18 month old, 14 lb Black Shihtzu mix FYI: It seems that JELLIE is afraid of men, so if you are a man or you have a man who lives in your home, JELLIE is not the dog for you. JELLIE loves to play fetch and get lots of hugs and gentle massages. She needs a loving home who is familiar with the Shihtzu breed, will take her for walks and play fetch with her. ORIGIN: JELLIE was brought in as a stray at a local shelter. HEALTH: JELLIE is a happy girl with lots of energy. We had her vet checked, spayed and had her teeth polished. She is now ready to start interviewing prospects for her forever home. NOTE: We are looking for an adopter who has the time to play ball with Jellie and take her on walks and/or road trips. It would be nice if she had a comparable aged dog to play with, too ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ At RoRescue, we strive to match the dog's personality to the best possible future home. Handsome Mr Polo is having his head shots taken to become the next doggie super model. He is looking for a loving home where he can be lived and flourish. He a nice 18 pound boy who loves interacting and cuddling as well. He has come to rescue because we were told of a bite incident with the original owner. Ozzy came to us from CA where he was at risk due to some pretty typical old man issues. He has really blossomed in his foster home and is now feeling and looking great. He is around 11 years old and about 13 lbs and is a really nice boy. He got a dental when he was neutered and his bloodwork came back with no concerns. Ozzy is good about going potty outside with regular opportunities. He loves hanging out in the yard when the weather is nice and loves the other dogs he lives with once he gets to know them (even tries to play!!). He does well on a leash and walks right by other dogs no fuss or barking. He is fine in a crate though has good house manners. Because he loves his yard time he would likely be best in a home with at least a small fenced yard. Ozzy was initially very standoffish but soon warms up and starts connecting. His level of intimacy and preference for pets and cuddles is more akin to a cats though; he will come up and solicit pets when he is in the mood but often chooses a few feet of distance. If you ever wanted a cat in dog form or a dog that isn't 'too needy' this one is the right pick for you!! Ozzy does prefer females or men that are not too big and imposing, and his innate skittishness and appreciation of space means kids would not be a good match. Ozzy loves to nap and food is his love language. Ozzy will take time a patience to adapt to a new home Ozzy does have some resource guarding with food so just needs to be fed alone.
