Meet Peaches, our little dynamo with a soulful stare. Peaches came into rescue as a stray. She is estimated to be about a 2 year old Shih Tzu mix. Peaches appeared injured from possibly her time on the streets. After crate rest and extensive vetting, it was determined by a veterinary neurologist that Peaches does have some deficit however she is not limited by it at all. Peaches has an uneven gait but there is no reason she won’t have a full life. She requires no medication or intervention. Peaches loves to run and play and is truly happy go lucky. Peaches is currently in foster care where she is just thriving. She is housebroken and well adapted to other dogs large and small. Peach is an affectionate snuggle bug. She is a well behaved little lady in and out of the house and she walks great on a leash. Her compact size coupled with her discipline and gentle nature makes her a versatile companion who can go nowhere.

Jade is a beautiful, true black, female Shih Tzu who is about 4 1/2 years old. She came to us from a home with too many dogs and was formerly used for breeding. She’s shy and a bit of an introvert but she is in the process of blossoming into a beautiful rose Jade is housetrained and crate trained and gets along with other dogs. She is currently being fostered with two other female dogs. Jade walks well on a leash and knows to walk on your left side. She is looking for that special home where she will be treated with only kindness. She still has a need for further socialization to allow her to become the happiest, most well adjusted dog she can be. Jade is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Jade’s adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Tiki and Rocco were surrendered to us after their owner passed away. They had not had the best care. They are thriving now and will only be adopted out together. They are very attached to each other. They are sweet dogs without a mean bone in their body. They are very petite Shih Tzus and the pair will make a delightful addition to almost any family. They are 5 years old. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained these two are. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise they should be easy to train.
