Story
This is Benji, he’s a Bichon/Shih Tzu mix that we’ve had since he was 4 months old. He was born June 5th, 2020 so he is 6 years old. He’s very playful, loves to cuddle. He is fully potty trained to go either on training pads indoors or walks outside. He LOVES squeaky toys and going for walks outside. He can be anxious around unknown dogs, especially bigger dogs. Benji would thrive the best in a home that is quiet with no other dogs, or in a home where the owner is willing to train him properly to be less reactive to other animals.

Story
We love Joey. We got him from the Orange County shelter, his paperwork showed he had been surrendered 2x previously. We are so happy we gave a rescue a good home. He does consistently barks at my dad. He was very scared when he saw a male veterinarian, so now he only sees women. He loves loves loves to jump up on the desk, chairs, runs up and down the stairs in the home. Last year he had pain in his paw, the vet treated him and said it was a neck strain and he must not jump up on desks, chairs, or climb stairs anymore. He must also use the harness instead of the collar. He does pull a little on the leash when I walk him but he walks very slowly when my mom walks him. He likes to run in the enclosed back yard for about 1 minute, but isn't really up for long walks, he gets too tired. He needs a home on the 1st floor, preferable without men, great with seniors! He is approx 4 years old.
