Meet Gidget!
**PLEASE NOTE**
Because of the amount of inquiries we are receiving for Gidget, we are only accepting applications that are:
1- semi local (within a couple hours radius, unless you have adopted from us previously)
2- Have another young, playful dog in the home.
3- Home owners only
Gidget was found as a stray with a homeless lady that had been caring for her for a few days. The lady unfortunately had to go to the hospital, so we offered to take Gidget it. The other rescue that first picked her up, shared info to look for an owner, but no luck and Gidget is now well passed the stray hold period and will be ready for a home!
Gidget is around a year old and weighs right at 10 pounds. She is spayed, updated on all shots, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, and current on heartworm prevention.
She is unsure of people in the beginning and did lightly nip once, but she was scared and hasn’t offered to nip at anyone since then. She has definitely has come out of her shell, but definitely NO small kids for this girl just to be safe. She is a very happy/sweet/playful girl!
She is good with other dogs and does enjoy playing with them. So another playful dog in the home is required. She has been chasing my cats some, so probably better without cats in the home.
She is pad trained and enjoys potty breaks (on a leash or in the fenced yard). Always expect a few accidents in the beginning though.
Gidget’s adoption fee is $400 to an approved and loving home. All vet records will be given to the adopter(s) at the time of adoption.

The application is to be completed prior to meeting the pet(s) you are interested in adopting. If they are still on the page, they are still more than likely still available. We do keep our website and Petfinder updated regularly.
Once a pet is adopted from our rescue, they MUST be returned to us, if you cannot keep them. If you plan on not keeping them their whole lives, please do not apply.
