Myah is a 3-4 year old Shih-Poo Mix. She is about 15 lbs. *We cannot guarentee breeds, there are no breed paperwork, dna test etc. She was origainally purchased at the local flea market. We also will not tell you she is hypoallergenic, YOU could still be allergic! What we can guarentee is that she will need to be groomed every 4-6 weeks. She is not a fan of getting her legs shaved or her toe nails cut. You will not want to tackle that project yourself. She will need to go to a professional, Please research the cost on maintaining grooming prior to adoption ( we say this lovingly, becuase we are tired of seeing dogs suffer and get matted because their family cannot afford the upkeep- Myah came to rescue with very matted hair, because of that, she is rocking the rescue cut. We had to shave her all the way down to address the unhealthy skin underneath. Mats are not only painfull, they trap in moisture which can cause skin infections. She also had scabs from flea allergies and no flea prevention) Myah is now spayed, She is heartworm negative, on prevention against fleas/ticks and hearthworms. Her skin has cleared up beautifully and her coat is only starting to grown back. She is good with other small dogs, is not sure of the larger dogs in her foster home or the kitties. She is under socialized and will need patience as she build confience with proper socialization. She will need a family that will take it slow. She is not ready to jump into a holiday party and meet your closest 100 friends. She is sweet and when she is comforatble she is all smiles and tail wags. New experiences (like putting on jammies) and she will be reserved and unsure. But with proper guidance, she is ready to tackle new tasks with only slight reservations. She has some seperation anxiety which is also causing some crate anxiety. We have been working through proper crate training and she is much more relaxed in her crate then when she first came to rescue and now retreats to hers when she needs a little time to herself. She will destroy a wire crate. Sky is a male Shih Tzu, black in color, 7 months old, weighs about 11 lbs. He is very healthy and active. Very playful and loves his toys. He plays a lot with the kids in the neighborhood and they enjoy when he runs after them. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and micro chipped . I also give him the heart worm drug every month for preventive measures. He goes outside for potty, he usually scratches the door to alert, but once in while he makes an accident if not attended on time. He will be a perfect match in a home with kids.

Kiwi was born 5/30/25. She is sweet and sassy, a perfect little girl! She is friendly and social with everyone. She likes playing with her toys. She is great with older children. Say Hello to Edith, the Ewok - the cutest, sweetest girl around! Edith is about 7-8 years and just over 20 lbs. She’s very chill and happy to lay on her favorite bed most of the day…but 2-3 times a day she gets all excited and jumps around and spins in circles. It is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen! Edith does have a heart murmur so has to have a pill twice a day but if you put with her food, she’ll just eat it right up. She also has a dry eye condition that clouds her vision a bit and requires once a day eye wipe and drops. However she gets around so well and doesn’t let it stop her. Her foster mom had her yard completely dug up for a few months and she navigated it perfectly. Edith is currently living with several dogs (big and small) and cats and does well with all. She would do best in a house without super rambunctious dogs but seems to like the company of another dog and definitely loves humans. She’s a one of a kind! Meet Eedy! We rescued Eedy back in May 2025 from a metro area shelter and it’s taken this long (and a lot of TLC) to get her ready for adoption! Severe upper respiratory infection; malnutrition; skin infection….this poor girl had it all when she came to us. But as you can see from the pictures, she’s a new woman now! It’s extremely difficult to guess age on dogs that have been neglected as much as poor Eedy has throughout her lifetime, but we’re going with somewhere between 9-11 years old. She definitely acts like she is on the lower end of that age range now that she’s feeling so so much better. Eedy is great with other dogs and cats, but truly all she wants out of life now is a nice quiet spot in the sun to nap and her very own person to trail along after, helping in the garden on nice days or curling up in front of a cozy fire on a cool evening. Eedy is on some medications that she will likely require for life - thyroid medicine and apoquel. It is possible that with further study to determine what she is allergic to, and maybe dietary changes, the apoquel might be able to be discontinued. Meet August! Back in early May, we made a visit to a metro area shelter after they had sent out an urgent plea for help. As we were walking through the back rooms of the shelter, where the public doesn’t go, August caught our attention. Not because he was acting crazy trying to get attention, but because he didn’t even lift his head to look at us as we approached his kennel. Not sure if he was scared or shy or what was going on, we opened up his kennel and found that he was actually very sick. As we held him, we could feel him wheezing - he had the dreaded upper respiratory infection so so common in that shelter. There was no way we were leaving him there! August (aka Auggie) has come so so far in the months he has been with us! From being so sick he couldn’t even lift his head in his kennel at the shelter to super scared of strangers to a sweet happy boy….we are so so proud of his progress! Just goes to show you what a huge difference a little TLC can make and why fostering is such an important part of animal rescue! Auggie is about 7 1/2 years old and great with other dogs and cats. He’s a chill guy who lives for car rides! Even though Auggie has been enjoying the company of his four legged foster brothers, he would also be just fine being an only fur child. All he wants out of life is his very own person with a fairly quiet lifestyle who will take him on plenty of car rides! Interested in adopting Auggie?
