5/8/25 I've been in rescue for a long time. Yes I'm older, but I love to lay in the sun outside, and I still love my meals. I so want my own person for the rest of my days. Please consider giving me a place to rest my head. Several years ago a good samaritan in Nashville saved me, I was running down the road. She took me in for 3 years, but couldn't afford to take me to the vet. I developed skin and ear issues so she reached out for someone to take me, and here I am getting the health care I need and responding very well. Yes I'm mostly blind, but I'm a gentle fellow that enjoys being petted. I could spend the day sitting on a lap being company and enjoying a persons company. I'm quiet and I would be fine in a small home with a small fenced yard because I love to sit in the sun and snooze.

I found myself lost in South Atlanta and I must have been out a long time because my fur was so matted. When I was shaved down it could stuff a pillow. I was rushed to the vet for a shave down and they discovered something going on in my abdomen. It turned out I had an infection that was pretty bad. My blood work didn’t look great but surgery was the only option. I’m better now and get along with everyone. I love my toys. I'm ready for my real forever home.

Name: T'Challa Birthday: January 1st, 2018 Age: 7 He is a sweet and generally chill dog with a loving personality once he's comfortable, but he does come with a few challenges that a new owner should be prepared for. He has a history of being aggressive, particularly during grooming and when it comes to guarding his food. He's also had limited interactions with other dogs and was unfortunately attacked by another dog a few years ago, which has understandably shaped some of his current behavior. Despite these challenges, I genuinely believe he has the potential to thrive in the right environment. Ideally a household without children, preferably an adult male who has experience with dog behavior or is willing to invest time and patience into training and building trust. With consistency, attention, and a calm, understanding home, I know he can become the amazing companion he's meant to be. My only goal is to find him a home where he can feel safe, understood, and cared for.

He can be a little mischievous but i think that's because he doesn't have a lot of interaction with people and is left alone for long periods of time during the day with nothing to do. Kiwi was born 5/30/25. She is sweet and sassy, a perfect little girl! She is friendly and social with everyone. She likes playing with her toys. She is great with older children. She needs work on housetraining. She is smart and catches on quickly. Adoption fee is 950.00. Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue.
