Story
Bodhi was a stud in a puppy mill for 8 years. Rescued in June of 2023 and assumed to be 8 years old at the time. I got him in October 2023. At first terrified of everything, he’s become a loving pup, and will even cautiously investigate strangers if they’re not too abrupt. Still terrified of storms and fireworks, even in his thundershirt, and will hide in the bowels of the basement if frightened. He does not lash out. Children scare him because they're loud and move abruptly. Physically, Bodhi is in pretty good shape for his age and history. He goes out now, especially with my other dog, and will trot around the yard and pee several times. (He gets a treat each time!) But he has not quite figured out that we don’t ever pee in the house, so he wears a belly band at all times indoors. More to tell. Let's talk. Adoption fee negotiable for the right adopter.

Story
This is Charlie. He is an 8-year-old Shih Tzu. Healthy, happy, friendly. Loves affection. Loves walks and loves to play fetch in the yard with a tennis ball. Is house trained, chipped. Good with other dogs. Hasn't been around cats. Does well with children although hasn't been around little ones lately. I am planning a move to a retirement community that does not allow dogs. Charlie is neutered and up-to-date on rabies vaccine.
