Story
Meet Bertie, a 1 1/2-year-old Shih Tzu! She radiates love and happiness. Bertie had a tough beginning in life, having never been groomed and found covered in extensive mats. Her mats had to be removed via a surgical blade, even from the inside of her eyelids. Note when her hair grows back in she will look like an adorable Shihtzu with a poofy tail, and face framed with waves. She has now received the vetting, care and grooming she deserves, and Bertie is absolutely loving her newfound physical freedom and vision. Bertie just loves every person she meets. She believes everyone is there solely to pet her and give her attention. She also enjoys walks and endlessly playing with her little doggie foster brother, Bertie would thrive with a playful and tolerant sibling. She also gets along well with the dog-savvy cat.Bertie is seeking her forever home with an active family who can provide her with the attention she deserves. She’s sure to bring immense joy to her family. As a Shih Tzu, she will require regular grooming.Bertie is completely house-trained, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines. Story
Joe belonged to my father, so he was the only pet in the home, and would be best as the only pet in his future home.He will follow you around while you do chores, or nap by your feet.He seems to have a sensitive stomach, so he eats dry kibble, and beggin' strips as treats. (No soft/canned food or human food.)He is housebroken and enjoys walks 3-4x a day.He is playful, loves to fetch his toys and needs sturdy squeaky toys. Lots of energy!Crate trained/sleeps in a crate all night quietly. Good with routines.Joe does bark a lot, and seems to have some anxiety issues--we are working with the vet for medications to help Joe feel his best. He takes two different medications for anxiety at the same time each day. He also has seasonal allergies, so takes 1/2 benadryl tab twice a day.Note: He will get into shorter trash receptacles vs tall kitchen ones. He has chewed up articles of clothing in the past. He has not done any of this in a couple months (after starting anti-anxiety meds).

Story
This little guy comes from sad beginnings. His 1st owner which was my wife's mother had past and he was left by himself. Since he has had some trauma which has caused him to develop a high anxiety issues. He loves to play and be scratched on his belly and head, but he is extremely nervous. He needs understanding people whom are able to provide him with love, patience and care. He would make a great addtion to anyone's home. Once he opens up he can be cute and kind and can be quite attached.
