Meet Big Guy 💙 Big Guy is a sweet, gentle 4-year-old male Shih Tzu weighing about 12 pounds who came into our care after his beloved owner passed away. Despite the big change in his life, he’s remained a friendly, affectionate little guy with a calm and loving nature. He gets along well with other dogs and is a smart cookie, too—Big Guy knows basic commands like sit and down and loves to show off by standing on his back legs. He’s eager to please, easy to train, fully potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He even has a soft, polite bark. Big Guy was recently neutered and is doing great. One important thing to know: he is sensitive about grooming and requires sedation for professional grooming, which should be handled through a veterinarian or an experienced groomer.
