Meet Fabio! Fabio is a sweet 7-year-old male Shih Tzu with a gentle cautious soul. He is a retired breeding dog so the world is new for him. This little guy loves nothing more than snuggling on your lap and soaking up all the affection he can get. Once he warms up, he’ll happily rest his head on your shoulder for hugs—one of his favorite ways to show love. Fabio gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, so he would thrive in a home with another friendly pup. He’s a bit shy at first and likes to sit back and watch the world, but with patience and kindness he quickly becomes a loyal, cuddly companion. He isn’t a fan of cold weather or snow and prefers to spend most of his time indoors. Fabio uses a potty pad reliably in the house, and although he goes outside when encouraged, he likes to come right back in. He hasn’t mastered steps yet, but we are working on it. He would need a securely fenced-in yard or secure outdoor area to help keep him safe. He is not leash trained yet but working on it. Fabio is looking for a calm, loving home where he can feel secure, snuggle up with his people, and enjoy the company of another dog. He could do well with calm older children. If you’re hoping for a gentle, affectionate little buddy Fabio might be the perfect match. I am getting neutered and a dental cleaning 12/5 Friday. I can be adopted once I have healed from surgery. Brodie and his two sisters, Bubbles and Buttercup were surrendered to a kill shelter because their owners just had too many and couldn’t find homes on their own. Their mom is a long-haired Chihuahua and their daddy is a Shih Tzu and they were born on February 2nd this year so they are nine months old. Brodie has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm negative. He’s also microchipped. He weighs just under 12 pounds and is probably full grown now. Brodie is great at the Vet and The Groomer and loves riding in the car. He needs a little practice on the leash and he’s making great progress on his house training. Brodie absolutely loves being held! He is a real snuggler! He would be fine with older children, and he loves his sisters so after proper intro he would like other 4 legged family members. Minimal Bingo is a sweet adult Shih Tzu mix with a heart full of love and a soft spot for human attention—whether you're a grown-up or a kiddo, she’s all in! This little lady is the definition of a loyal companion and would love nothing more than to be your shadow throughout the day (especially if your couch is involved). She’s potty trained and trustworthy in the home, even when left alone—no crate needed!
