MEET ZEPH:
Hi there, my name is Zeph and I'm a Shih tzu mix. I weigh 13 pounds and I'm 1 1/2 years old. I was found as a stray and unfortunately, no one claimed me. I have no idea how long I was on my own, but when I was found, I was covered in matted fur from head to tail. It breaks my heart to think about what I might have endured in my previous life.
I ended up in an overcrowded shelter, and I wasn't doing well there. Thankfully, the kind staff there reached out to Furever Tails Animal Rescue and they took me in. Since being in my foster home, I have discovered that I really enjoy the company of other dogs. However, I would prefer to live in a home without any feline friends.
I am an extremely cuddly dog and I love giving kisses. Going on walks is one of my favorite things to do, and I hope my forever family will take me on many adventures. I also love taking naps with my humans and I'll happily snuggle up next to you on the couch.
At home, I really enjoy looking out the window and people-watching. It's so much fun observing the world from the comfort of my own home. I also enjoy playing with toys and I know basic commands. I'm a smart pup and I'm eager to learn more.
I absolutely adore car rides, so if you enjoy taking road trips, I'm the perfect companion for you. I'm hoping to find a forever family who will love and cherish me for the rest of my life. I promise to bring so much love and joy into your home.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
