This Shih Tzu puppy was a Christmas gift to my mom 4 years ago. We had a black and white shih Tzu when I was growing up and my mom said that she would only want another black and white in female Shih Tzu. Someone posted on Facebook that they had Shih Tzu puppies and we just had to meet them. This puppy was small and cuddly when we met her and so we named her Snuggles. My parents are older now and they never got around to potty training the dog due to busy schedule and a recent cancer diagnosis. Now my parents are even older and it's really hard to take care of an animal in the midst of a busy cancer treatment schedule. She is very sweet with my 2-year-old daughter and would be a great cuddly companion for someone.

Percy is a 2-3 yr old Shihtzu mix weighing 15 lbs. He is from the Pearsall shelter and came to our rescue completely neglected. He is a good boy and loves to sit on his hind legs and give prayers in his crate. haha. He gets along with everyone in his group, especially the ladies. Percy is heartworm negative and Chagas positive but don't let that deter you. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more dogs can be helped.
