Story
Lulu is the definition of a loyal dog. She is a sweet and relaxed dog who provides loving companionship. Her health is excellent, and she loves going on long walks. She's the best dog I've ever walked as she goes at your pace and doesn't take too long with her potty breaks. Lulu is very friendly with adults, children, and most other dogs. She’ll even join in a game of chase when the mood strikes. However, she can be possessive and territorial at times, which means she needs a home where she can be the only dog. We're also expecting our first baby, and we think it's best for us and for Lulu for her to find a new loving home. We're choosing to prioritize her health and happiness too! What an ideal new home would look like for Lulu: -No other pets; Lulu is the only pet in the home -Not required, but Lulu gets along great with kids. She lets them dress her up and play all day! -A home with a large backyard

Story
Sunni’s Animal Missions help foster and or adopt IM RAISING FUNDS to help me get them safe! I am about to step in and help 25 small dogs that desperately need a chance at a better life. age ranges from 1 year old to puppies of all sorts It started with one female Shih Tzu and one male Schnauzer belonging to a hardworking truck driver who simply couldn’t afford to have them spayed and neutered. Over time, they multiplied. Now there are young adult dogs and puppies, all living in very difficult conditions. These little ones are covered in fleas, their fur is matted, and they are extremely scared of people. They didn’t ask for this life, but together we can give them a future where they can finally feel safe and loved. My plan is to: 🐾 Safely capture and rescue them 🐾 Remove fleas and painful mats 🐾 Socialize them and help them learn to trust people 🐾 Provide deworming and flea prevention 🐾 Give their vaccinations and booster shots 🐾 Spay and neuter every dog 🐾 Place them in loving, responsible homes

Story
Meet Teddy, a small fluffy Shih Tzu mix who is cute, cuddly, and full of sweetness. Teddy is one of a sibling pair with Bunny, and these two have clearly leaned on each other through big changes. Teddy weighs about 8.8 pounds and is about 2 years and 6 months old. Teddy came to Tracy’s Paws Rescue after being turned in by an owner to a city shelter. It was an odd situation because Teddy and Bunny were groomed when they arrived, yet they were clearly scared. The best part is that once they realized they were safe, their true personalities started to show. Teddy is very sweet and gets along with everybody. He is happiest when close to people and ready for a home that will offer comfort, routine, and a cool spot inside when the Texas weather does its thing. Teddy is heartworm negative and Chagas negative. Teddy will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, given flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and tested for Chagas before adoption. Teddy is located in Hondo, Texas. If you would like to apply for Teddy, you can apply online at tracyspawsrescue.org. If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: • Chagas Testing • Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) • All age appropriate vaccines • Heartworm and flea and tick preventatives • Spay and neuter surgery • Microchip The breed or breeds listed are guessed and based on the dog’s physical appearance.

Story
Agnes is finally ready for adoption. And this one is very special to me. As many of you know, I have a soft spot for senior dogs. Honestly, I have a soft spot for all dogs — but when I see older dogs sitting in city-funded shelters, it always gives me a pit in my stomach. I start wondering… Did someone surrender them? Did they get lost? Did someone simply stop caring? That’s how I found Agnes at the Weslaco shelter. Her little body told a story I wish I never had to imagine. Agnes appeared to be around 10–12 years old, although that’s only our best guess since it’s clear she likely didn’t receive proper veterinary care throughout her life. She had several lipomas that needed to be removed, and she appears to be partially blind. But the thing that hurt me the most was the condition of her mouth. When I first picked her up, I could smell the infection immediately. Her mouth was filled with rotten teeth and pus. The pain this sweet dog must have been living with is almost unbearable to think about. Anyone who has ever had a toothache knows how painful it can be — and dogs feel that pain too. The difference is that Agnes didn’t just have one bad tooth. It was her entire mouth. Despite that, she was incredibly gentle and sweet. Since coming to Tracy’s Paws, Agnes has been fully cared for. She has been spayed, her lipomas have been removed, and unfortunately her teeth had to be removed as well. But the wonderful news is that she is now pain-free and much happier. As our veterinarian said, she is a very sweet, deserving little dog. Now Agnes is ready for the best part of her life — a soft couch, a warm lap, and a person who will love her the way she always deserved to be loved. She loves people, gets along well with others, and simply needs a place to belong. So if you have a soft spot for senior dogs… or if you know a kind-hearted person looking for a sweet companion… please consider Agnes. She has become one of our favorites here, and we cannot wait to see her finally living the comfortable, loved life she deserves. If you’d like to make this sweet dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt
