He would do well in a  stable loving home. He’s a very sweet boy gets along great with other dogs and loves to play Age: 1 year Weight: 8 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, not cats, older respectful kids Training: crate-trained but needs house training. Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention Email for questions:    http://loramyers51@yahoo.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. I need a little time to trust and I’m not into being picked up by strangers, but once you’re my person? I’m a cuddle guy and will choose you every time. I prefer calm spaces, no little kids, and people who respect my boundaries over food and toys. I lost my home when my owner lost her apartment — kinda bad luck since trust is hard for me. I’d be an amazing companion for someone retired or living a peaceful life who wants a loyal, deeply bonded best friend. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves car rides, snuggles, and short strolls, Potato might just be your perfect match! This sweet girl is the ultimate lap dog—she adores curling up with her person and would happily snooze beside you all night if allowed. Potato gets excited for her daily walks and walks beautifully on leash. She’s very food motivated and loves her treats, though she can be a bit protective of her snacks, so a home without young children would likely suit her best. Potato is fully house-trained and can comfortably be left alone for the workday without any accidents. Crates aren’t her favorite, but she does great when confined to a single room. While Potato prefers to be your one-and-only when it comes to other dogs, she’s been indifferent toward kids and hasn’t met any cats yet.
