Meet Maria! 🐶 Maria is a sweet 2.5-year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing 10 lbs. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find her forever home in the US. Maria’s journey hasn’t been easy. Over a year ago, she was found in a vacant lot with four tiny puppies. All were rescued and adopted, including Maria—but fate had another twist! A few months ago, she was found again wandering the streets by the very person who first rescued her. Sadly, her previous adopters could not provide a safe home, so Maria is now searching for her third chance at a loving and secure life. Despite her past, Maria has a gentle, loving personality. She enjoys being around other dogs, playing with toys, and relaxing in cozy spots. She is sweet with children who understand how to care for a small, docile dog, and she even gets along with cats. Maria’s habits and skills: Low to medium energy level Completely house trained (patio or walks) Sleeps comfortably in her little house and bed Walks nicely on leash and rides well in the car Protects her food, so slow, patient introductions around meals are best Maria is ready for a calm, loving home where she can finally feel safe and cherished.
