Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Meet Dolly Dolly is a 7-year-old Chihuahua girl, weighing just 4 lbs, with a delicate little frame and gentle eyes that quietly ask for love. She was rescued from an illegal breeding facility, where life was about survival rather than care. Now safe, Dolly is beginning to discover comfort, kindness, and what it means to belong in a home of her own. Dolly isn’t looking for much — a warm lap, calm routines, and someone patient enough to let her open up at her own pace. In return, she offers quiet devotion and a deep, trusting bond that only a rescued dog can give. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Dolly’s adoption fee is $1,495, a non-refundable donation that helps support the rescue of dogs still waiting for their second chance. It includes: Spay Vaccinations Microchip Boarding and daily care Health certificate Transport and rescue-related costs A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs (you may bring your own or purchase one from us). Please note: Breed and age are best estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Ginger’s Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Every adoption makes it possible to save another life. Thank you for choosing rescue and giving Dolly the future she’s been waiting for. December 17, 2025, 2:01 pm

MEET SARGE! Sarge is a cute 8-year-old Chihuahua mix who needs a forever home! He was rescued from a crowded California shelter. He is a sweet & shy boy, who is pretty independent and would do best as the only dog in the home. He's not a great fan of other dogs and prefers human companionship. Sarge weighs only 10 lbs. and he's just a little guy waiting for his chance at adoption. Please email for an application.

Story
Hi everyone! Meet Snoopy.  He is a Long Hair Chihuahua Mix. He is a 14 pound ball of energy! His perfect day involves hiking through a forested trail or exploring a rocky beach. He is always up for an adventure in nature! He loves jumping over logs and walking through shallow creeks. Afterwards he can relax and snuggle on the couch. He is very affectionate and love giving kisses! Post nap, he can play fetch or tug of war with his favorite squeaker toy. he can end the day with a peanut butter kong and some belly rubs. Dislikes: Walking on streets with heavy traffic, especially when buses and unmuffled cars drive by. The noise is stressful for him, and he prefers the safety of home. He is also sensitive to certain noises, and will alert with a bark. We have been working on ways to provide a relaxing outlet when there is too much going on during walks like a Citronella Collar.  This is a big reason why having my own backyard would be amazing! I like to watch over my home, so new people must allow me a chance to feel safe around them.. Once they walk through the door,  It helps is meeting new people while on a leash. It shows me they are friendly and safe. I am a nervous dog by breed or nature.  I have been trying to build a more secure peronality.  A good trainer and dedicated adopter can help me overcome my fears.  I'm not crate trained but have used a pen. I'm working on the pen being my safe space. I do very well at the veterinary clinic and have gotten compliments for my sweet nature. I also do well getting my nails professionally trimmed.  I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. What I need: No young children.  I do better with adults. A gated backyard. I absolutely love running and can run for hours! My fast, agile body would be amazing at agility courses He can be shy and nervous around other dogs, especially if they don't respect boundaries. However, he can be comfortable with them over time.   ##1867517##
