Story
Meet Parton, a handsome member of our Dolly Parton-themed group who is ready to find his forever home. Like his namesake, Parton has plenty of charm and a whole lot of love to give. He is FeLV-positive with a regressive form of feline leukemia virus, meaning the virus is currently not actively replicating. Parton will need a family committed to regular veterinary care and monitoring.Because of his FeLV status, Parton needs to be the only cat in his home, or he would love to be adopted with another FeLV-positive kitty from his Dolly-themed group, such as Rhinestone, Jolene, or Firefly. He must be an indoor-only cat, where he can enjoy a safe, comfortable life surrounded by love.Parton is looking for a family who will see beyond a diagnosis and appreciate the wonderful cat he is. He deserves a forever home where he can be spoiled, adored, and treated like the star he was born to be. After all, every little country star deserves their happily ever after-and Parton is ready for his. Primary Color: Blue Point Secondary Color: Cream Weight: 3.5 Age: 3yrs 0mths 3wks

Story
Meet Nashville, a handsome boy from our Dolly Parton-themed group who is ready to find his forever home. With a name inspired by the heart of country music, Nashville is hoping his next chapter will be filled with comfort, companionship, and a family who will love him for exactly who he is. Nashville is FeLV-positive with a regressive form of feline leukemia virus, meaning the virus is currently not actively replicating. He will need a family prepared to provide regular veterinary care and ongoing monitoring.Because Nashville is FeLV-positive, he needs to be the only cat in his home or live with another FeLV-positive cat. He would be a wonderful match for another member of his Dolly-themed group, including Parton, Rhinestone, Jolene, or Firefly. Nashville must also be an indoor-only cat so he can stay safe, healthy, and protected from the risks of outdoor life.Nashville is so much more than a FeLV diagnosis. He is a special boy looking for someone willing to give him the time, care, and love he deserves. His perfect family will understand his unique needs while seeing all the wonderful qualities that make him Nashville. He may not need a stage or a spotlight-just a loving home where he can finally settle in, be cherished, and become someone's very special companion. Story
Meet Jolene, a beautiful girl from our Dolly Parton-themed group who is hoping her forever family comes along soon. She may have a famous name, but Jolene isn't looking to steal anyone's heart-she's hoping to find one of her own to call home. Jolene is FeLV-positive with a regressive form of feline leukemia virus, which means the virus is currently not actively replicating. While regressive FeLV is different from progressive infection. Jolene will need a family who understands her needs and can provide regular veterinary care and monitoring.Because Jolene is FeLV-positive, she should either be the only cat in her home or live with another FeLV-positive kitty. She would make a wonderful companion for another member of her Dolly-themed group, including Parton, Rhinestone, or Firefly. Jolene must be an indoor-only cat, where she can enjoy a safe, comfortable life and all the love and attention she deserves.Jolene's FeLV status is just one part of her story, and it certainly doesn't define the wonderful girl she is. She is looking for someone who will see her for the special cat she is and give her the chance to become a cherished member of the family. With a loving home, proper care, and someone to call her own, Jolene is ready to leave the lonely days behind and find her happily ever after. Meet Rhinestone, a handsome boy from our Dolly Parton-themed group who is ready to find the family he can call his own. With a name like Rhinestone, you know this boy was meant to sparkle, and now he's just waiting for the right person to see what makes him so special. Rhinestone is FeLV-positive with a regressive form of feline leukemia virus, meaning the virus is currently not actively replicating. He will still need a family who understands his unique needs and is committed to regular veterinary care and monitoring.Due to his FeLV status, Rhinestone should either be the only cat in his home or live with another FeLV-positive cat. He would be especially happy to find a home alongside one of his Dolly-themed friends, such as Parton, Jolene, or Firefly. Rhinestone will need to be an indoor-only cat, giving him a safe environment where he can thrive and enjoy all the comforts of being someone's beloved companion.Rhinestone's FeLV status is only one small part of who he is, and it shouldn't overshadow the wonderful cat waiting to be loved. He deserves a family who will give him the care, attention, and affection he needs while appreciating all the joy he has to offer. With a little love and a forever home, this sweet boy is ready to put down some roots and sparkle for the rest of his days. Story
This stunning seal point kitty with the bright blue eyes is Zoey. She is a Siamese diva who is looking for just the right home to suit her needs. Someone who lives a laid back lifestyle in a quiet home will be ideal. Zoey's new person should be willing to provide small and gentle amounts of affection on Zoey's terms (not terribly often) and also will follow a routine feeding regimen (much to Zoey's dismay). This girl knows what she wants when she wants it. She's independent and sassy. Although Zoey is definitely not a lap cat and does not often ask for attention, she does like to be around people on her own terms. She was slow to come around, but now spends quite a bit of time with her fosters and will seek them out (although her tolerance for being touched or petted hasn't really increased.) When Zoey is feeling receptive, she allows some gentle scratching under her chin and on the back of her neck, as well as a few pets. If you continue petting Zoey past her limit, she will let you know that she's had enough. She does enjoy being talked to but prefers if you keep your hands to yourself. She has become interested in playing on a routine basis, usually in the evening and sometimes in the morning also. She isn't generally a fast moving cat so it can be almost like playing in slow motion, but she does obviously enjoy it and is entertained. About 10-15 minutes a session is usually enough. Despite Zoey's low interest level in affection, she is often found waiting in the hall to greet her foster family if they've been out of the house for any period of time. Zoey is a low maintenance cat who doesn't need a large area to run around in. She has the zoomies occasionally, but rarely runs anywhere otherwise. Like any cat, she likes looking out the window but really wants an easy access route. This girl is quite lazy! What Zoey really wants is to get right into bed with you; right between the sheets. She also enjoys sleeping right under a light blanket on top of a bed (preferably the bed her people use.) She's quirky, what can we say? She is also a cat that enjoys having lots of surfaces to scratch. Trimming her nails isn't something Zoey enjoys, so having lots of both horizontal and vertical surfaces for her to scratch on is important. We're unsure why, but Zoey seems to gravitate towards the men in her foster family more so than the women (although she is happy to spend time around both men and women.) Her foster mom (despite being very gentle with Zoey) also seems to attract more sass from miss diva than her foster dad does. As well, Zoey uses her mouth to communicate with her foster mom if she thinks it's time to eat or play. She does not use her mouth on her foster dad. We don't know why she's more comfortable with men than women in general, but it's an interesting thing to note. Zoey will do best in a quiet home with 1 or 2 calm, cat-experienced adults. It will be really important that Zoey's new family can read her body language to know when it's appropriate to give affection and when she needs space. Zoey has no experience with other animals (cats or dogs) and doesn't give the impression she's looking for company. She will not be a suitable cat for a home with children. Since she's fairly independent, it probably doesn't matter too much whether Zoey's new family is home for much of the day or works. Thus far, Zoey has been used to living with retired folks who are home most of the day. Zoey was surrendered to us because her senior owners were moving into a care home. The change was very difficult for her and it took her a long time to settle in. Therefore, we are looking for a home for Zoey where she is unlikely to have to endure another move at any point in her future. She turned 5 years old in August 2025, so we hope that she has another 10-15 years + ahead of her. Zoey gets very stressed in the care, so at this time we are only considering homes for her that are in the Greater Victoria/Peninsula area (south of Duncan.) If you'd like to apply to adopt Zoey, please visit the adoption section of our website at https://victoriapets.ca/adoption process/.
