Introducing the Odd Measurement litter. Their mom came into our care after she was abandoned while heavily pregnant. She gave birth to a beautiful litter of kittens shortly after arriving so her litter has grown up in one of our foster homes and has been handled regularly since they were very small. They are now old enough to find their forever homes. Smidge is the only black kitten in the litter, but she has a very neat feature. She's almost all black, but the tip of her tail is white, just like her mom (whose name is Tippy.) She also has quite the 'grumpy face', although she's anything but grumpy. Smidge is the smallest and daintiest kitten in her litter, however moves very fast when on a mission! She can start off a little shy, but once out of her shell, she's into everything. Her foster mom says that Smidge is one of her favourite kittens from this litter because she's the perfect balance of energy, affection, and playfulness. These kittens really love playing with their siblings so we are looking for homes where they'll either be adopted in pairs, or where there is already an existing kitty in the home that will want a new friend. They have been exposed to older children once or twice, but they have never been around young children. Since Smidge is small and delicate, she is not the best candidate for a home with young kids. They have never seen a dog before by may learn to live with a cat-friendly dog that respects their space, as long as they're introduced slowly and properly. She loves to jump from the bed to her scratching post and post. Whomever adopts this little girl will need to be prepared for her energy and will need to ensure their home is well kitten-proofed. Splash is always on the go and she has a fairly rough play-style. When she's finally had enough play time and she's ready for a nap, you can see that Splash has some pretty grey stripes in her coat. This gorgeous house panther is Eevee from our Pokemon litter. She is an independent Siamese mix who is looking for a quiet home with another cat who will want to be her friend. Quieter and more independent than her littermates, Eevee enjoys her own space and observes before joining in. She's not standoffish, she just more reserved - taking a little longer to warm up before showing her sweeter, more relaxed side. Eevee can often be found off on her own, content to watch the world from a favorite perch. Eevee would benefit from a calm feline companion who wont overwhelm her, rather than a high-energy friend. Perhaps an older kitty who is interested in a cuddle buddy. Eevee's ideal home will be a quieter household with someone who is home a lot and enjoys a low-key routine where Eevee can ease into trust at her own pace. Although Eevee doesn't yet have any experience with dogs, she might be ok with one that is very calm and docile, but she will not enjoy one that has lots of energy or barks. Although Eevee has grown up in a foster with a pre-teen and has been handled regularly, she will not be comfortable in a home with young children. Pinch is a confident kitten who is always the first of her litter to try anything new. This stunning seal point kitty with the bright blue eyes is Zoey. She is a Siamese diva who is looking for just the right home to suit her needs. Someone who lives a laid back lifestyle in a quiet home will be ideal. Zoey's new person should be willing to provide small and gentle amounts of affection on Zoey's terms (not terribly often) and also will follow a routine feeding regimen (much to Zoey's dismay). This girl knows what she wants when she wants it. She's independent and sassy. Although Zoey is definitely not a lap cat and does not often ask for attention, she does like to be around people on her own terms. She was slow to come around, but now spends quite a bit of time with her fosters and will seek them out (although her tolerance for being touched or petted hasn't really increased.) When Zoey is feeling receptive, she allows some gentle scratching under her chin and on the back of her neck, as well as a few pets. If you continue petting Zoey past her limit, she will let you know that she's had enough. She does enjoy being talked to but prefers if you keep your hands to yourself. She has become interested in playing on a routine basis, usually in the evening and sometimes in the morning also. She isn't generally a fast moving cat so it can be almost like playing in slow motion, but she does obviously enjoy it and is entertained. About 10-15 minutes a session is usually enough. Despite Zoey's low interest level in affection, she is often found waiting in the hall to greet her foster family if they've been out of the house for any period of time. Zoey is a low maintenance cat who doesn't need a large area to run around in. She has the zoomies occasionally, but rarely runs anywhere otherwise. Like any cat, she likes looking out the window but really wants an easy access route. This girl is quite lazy! What Zoey really wants is to get right into bed with you; right between the sheets. She also enjoys sleeping right under a light blanket on top of a bed (preferably the bed her people use.) She's quirky, what can we say? She is also a cat that enjoys having lots of surfaces to scratch. Trimming her nails isn't something Zoey enjoys, so having lots of both horizontal and vertical surfaces for her to scratch on is important. We're unsure why, but Zoey seems to gravitate towards the men in her foster family more so than the women (although she is happy to spend time around both men and women.) Her foster mom (despite being very gentle with Zoey) also seems to attract more sass from miss diva than her foster dad does. As well, Zoey uses her mouth to communicate with her foster mom if she thinks it's time to eat or play. She does not use her mouth on her foster dad. We don't know why she's more comfortable with men than women in general, but it's an interesting thing to note. Zoey will do best in a quiet home with 1 or 2 calm, cat-experienced adults. It will be really important that Zoey's new family can read her body language to know when it's appropriate to give affection and when she needs space. Zoey has no experience with other animals (cats or dogs) and doesn't give the impression she's looking for company. She will not be a suitable cat for a home with children. Since she's fairly independent, it probably doesn't matter too much whether Zoey's new family is home for much of the day or works. Thus far, Zoey has been used to living with retired folks who are home most of the day. Zoey was surrendered to us because her senior owners were moving into a care home. The change was very difficult for her and it took her a long time to settle in. Therefore, we are looking for a home for Zoey where she is unlikely to have to endure another move at any point in her future. She turned 5 years old in August 2025, so we hope that she has another 10-15 years + ahead of her. Zoey gets very stressed in the care, so at this time we are only considering homes for her that are in the Greater Victoria/Peninsula area (south of Duncan.) While Sprinkle plays with her siblings but she's more into cuddling and napping than in running around. She can be shy when she meets new people, but once she knows you she's affectionate. These kittens really love playing with their siblings so we are looking for homes where they'll either be adopted in pairs, or where there is already an existing kitty in the home that will want a new friend. They have been exposed to older children once or twice, but they have never been around young children. Due to Sprinkle's lower energy, she wont be the right fit for a very active home.
