Story
Anna was adopted as a kitten and recently returned at no fault of her own, her adopter is moving and cannot take Anna with her. Anna would do best in a home where it is quiet with no other pets or young children. She will need time to adjust to a new environment so she might hide at first but once she feels safe and secure she will love to sit with you. She likes soft pets and chin rubs and will even let you pet her belly. She likes it best if she is the one to come to you as fast movements scare her. One way to her heart is wet food. All types of wet food. She does nibble on dry food throughout the day as well. Anna is waiting for her forever home that can make her feel safe and secure where she can be the center of attention her way. Please note: Anna is shown as a Siamese Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. Anna needs a home with no dogs and no young children.More information & application [ts=1714280589&src=aap]

Story
Cute and cuddly Kimi is a special girl looking for a special home. She is very sweet and loved to be petted and brushed, and she gets along well with other cats and the well-behaved dogs in her foster home. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and has lost one of her eyes and all of her teeth.  Kimi is also diabetic, she takes daily insulin shots, which she doesnt mind at all.  We will provide the insulin, needles and any testing supplies that are needed for this sweet girl.  She is really a treasure and deserves a home of her own.  The vet does not expect her to have any long-term medical issues and if additional vet care is needed, the Cat House on the Kings will cover the costs of having our vet take care of it if needed. (Out of town adopters would have to bring her back if you want this care.)  She is an independent girl who is so sweet and wants nothing more than to sit in your lap. (Note: cats without teeth prefer wet/canned food, but can also manage smaller pieces of kibble.) Kimi is listed as Special Needs because of her missing eye and teeth and is diabetic. The Cat House is prepared to provide future vet care (locally, from our vet) if anything serious develops with Kimi. We offer this because we don't want concerns about costs of care to keep her from finding a wonderful home! Please note: Kimi is shown as a Siamese Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. Kimi is a Special Needs cat.More information & application [ts=1714280585&src=aap]

Story
Mattie is a very sweet and beautiful girl, she started life in a hoarding situation with a double eye infection that ruined her beautiful eyes.  She has limited vision but can still get around great, she loves to play with her toys and chase the mouse and dixie cups. She can climb the cat trees, get on the couch and pretty much do everything a normal cat can do. She gets along great with other cats and dogs and does require another cat as an companion, she would get very lonely without another cats friend, she was raised with lots of other cats & dogs in her household and feels best in a house with other loving cats. Mattie is a talker and will call you when she is looking for you or talk to her toys. Mattie was very sick when she first came to us and needed several weeks of medial care, during this time she would only eat Friskies Pate non fish, now that she is recovered she will still only eat Fiskies Pate non Fish and needs to be fed three times a day. Her foster mom feeds her morning, dinner and second dinner before she goes to bed.  She will not eat dry food.  She also drinks a lot of water, we suspect there was a shortage of fresh water where she was living.  We have done blood work recently and it all looks great now and we are hoping that she has a long life ahead of her.  If she has additional medical needs and you are local we are happy to get her into our vet at our cost. Please note: Mattie is shown as a Siamese Mix based solely on her appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies. Story
Like a silky soft, purring cotton ball, one with big sky blue eyes, Trixie is an undeniable beauty! Petal pink velvety ears and a rosy satin nose complete her picture-perfect little face!  She has a quiet personality to complement her lovely looks and plays a little with her sister and brother and the other kittens but is also quite content to play alone with her little toys. She also gets along with bigger cats and a small dog. The most favorite time for this blue-eyed doll will find her curled up cozily in a warm lap observing whatever antics and activities are going on. Her sweetness, beauty, affection, and enjoyment of simple, quiet times, will make her a cherished girl in a home that adores her. Darling Trixie hopes she’s the precious jewel for you!
