Not good with dogs,
Good with cats,
Story
Moka is very food motivated; she loves treats and will often follow you around the apartment in the hope of getting a treat. She loves her wet food, seafood especially, she isn't a fan of chicken wet food and will only occasionally eat beef. Fancy feast pate is her current food of choice.
She is not fussy with her treats however and will make cute chirps when you put the treats down. She loves to play. She will jump and hit bouncy balls for a time and then will get bored so you need to switch to wand toys. She likes variety with her wand toys, and needs to take breaks between rounds. You will see her go and lie on the floor but she'll meow at you to let you know she's ready to go again.
She absolutely adores cat tunnels and making caves that she climbs into with floor rugs. She will often leave herself some wet food and finishes it independently after a play session. She has zero interest in vertical scratch posts; she likes to scratch rugs and the scratch section at the bottom of the cat tree. She would likely need a horizontal sturdy scratch post.
She will rub herself against you when you are getting her food or treats ready, and she will greet you at the door when you come home purring, but she isn't very affectionate otherwise. She doesn't like to be petted; she might let you pat her for one or two times and then she will try and bite you. She has become less bitey over time, but this appears to just be part of her personality. She will also lick you sweetly and then nibble your fingers or your toes. A love nibble if you will.
If she's heightened in play mode, she will bite your ankles if you walk past her. It's a prey thing. If you walk slowly and turn to look at her while you're passing, she won't bite.
She loves to sleep and she is more of a ground cat than a tree cat. She has a cat tree and will sleep on the wide section in the middle, or the hammock below, but she won't climb to the top. She likes to sleep on the bed and on a cooling mat on the floor too. She hoots like an owl when she sleeps which is super adorable.
The Foster carers currently have a kitten in the second bedroom, attempts to have them meet each other are currently at a standstill as Moka is very displeased to have another cat in the apartment, so she would need to be an only cat so she can settle fully and be comfortable. It's not known how she would be around dogs, but given how territorial she is, probably best not to risk it. Given that she has a tendency to bite, she would only be suitable in an adult only home too. She is quite vocal too, she will let you know when she's bored, hungry, or wants you to see the mouse that she brought into the bedroom for you.
If you want a pretty, confident, sassy cat that isn't very affectionate pat wise, but lets you know how she feels about you by rubbing up against you, following you around the house, and doing crazy acrobatic moves when you play with her, Moka is the cat for you.
