Story
We adopted Mouse in July 2024 when he was 3 weeks old. He was very skinny and needed help. A year and a half later he is super healthy and very handsome. We lived in a home when we got him. He had plenty of room to roam and didn't give us any trouble. We have been living in a small apartment for the last 6 months and Mouse is having a very hard time adjusting. We are close to being asked to leave because of Mouse. We love him and want to keep him, but we have no choice at this point. He needs LOTS of attention and LOTS of things to do! Even though I have bought every toy for "bored" cats, he still gets into trouble. He has figured out how to open all of my cabinets in the kitchen and how to open the trash can. He would do well with someone that is home all day. His biggest issue is that he is deaf and he meows VERY loud! He doesn't know how loud he is! Our walls are thin in an apartment and the neighbors do not appreciate his way of communication.

Story
We adopted Lucy at Dumb Friends League when she was a year old, she is 13 now, and I have recently taken over caring for her for my mom. We love her very much but after a year we have realized we can't give her the care she needs. We have one other cat that we thought she would get along with, but it has been a year of us trying to introduce them and it is not working. She is very skittish and will bat and growl or even attack other cats, but never humans. I am unsure of how she would be around dogs. She prefers to have a room that she can go to to sleep or find a cozy spot to burrow in. We are looking for someone that has NO OTHER PETS, and probably no small children. She is very playful and loves catnip and small toys that she can bat around. She also loves to cuddle and will lay on you for hours! She deserves to have an owner that will give her all the love and attention she needs, in a cozy, calm, single pet environment. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Story
We took in Arborvitae and his siblings/friends because their owner passed away.Family was unable to take them. They are all very unique cats. Arborvitae is polydactyl which means he has extra thumbs. Because of this, he will require nail trimmings every 4-6 weeks, otherwise the nails will get imbedded into his pads which is very painful and could lead to infection or other behavioral issues. They are all very sweet and vocal cats. They love being rubbed on and getting all the attention they can get. We would like to adopt them in pairs, although that is not required. All the cats who came in with this group: (Barberry, Hosta, Arborvitae, Moss Rose, Sweet Alyssum, Salvia, Begonia, Verbena, Caladium) Children 12 and over. foster: chcl  Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. Story
Bodhi is a beautiful 2-year-old Siamese. His looks are a lot of what he’s got going for him because his outgoing personality ain’t it.Think of him like Megan Mullally on Will and Grace, or Carrie Bradshaw. Beautiful, fashion-forward, a martini in paw…but no touchies. He needs an adopter who is content having a pretty face and a chubby waist chirping from a few feet away.He is a somewhat feral cat that has come to appreciate the comforts of indoor living. He sleeps on a velvet blanket, has more beds than he can count, eats a churu (or 2) every day, and plays with his toys and adores his foster siblings. He also gets drunk on catnip, but it’s a “give it to him and leave quickly before the crazy drunk comes out” situation. He vocalizes and chirps like many Siamese and on his own terms he WILL accept and even ask for pets, and over time he will progress further. For right now, he needs someone who doesn’t have a strict timeline on affection to give him the space to flourish. His foster parents find his quirks funny, his dazed look adorable, and his boundary-setting admirable. He doesn’t even need therapy - he was just born with it.
