Have you heard the story of Monty the Firepoint Siamese kitten? Well, have I got a tale for you. Monty-Saurus-Rex will start each day roaming the jungle looking for prey. During his hunt, he will make plenty of stops by the humans to let them know he still has not found enough to satiate his hunger. Once he locates the meat cuts in savory gravy, you will have about 10 minutes of peace and quiet. Monty-Poo is a big boy and does not like to be picked up; unless it is for super snuggles than lasts for 5 seconds or less. He prefers to lay next to rather than on a lap. As long as you are touching and he gets scritches from time to time, he will spend hours by your side. His fur is made of satin and he begs for belly rubs. He is the best snuggle bug when he’s in the mood. Monty-the-Menace makes having an attitude problem so darn cute. He fully understands the word "No" and he will give you his opinion anytime you use it. He will selectively comply, but will make sure to give you a earful while doing so. His side eye puts Karen to shame. His passive aggressive "Mmhmm" is palpable and you will feel judged when you experience it. Monty-the-Mountain Lion loves to hunt. There is no movement that can go undetected in his presence. He loves to chase his motorized toys and pom poms from the launcher gun. He loves his automated toys that bring out his wild side. He is a considerate hunter and will sometimes leave a stuffy mouse on his food plate for his humans to discover later. He is a great contributor to his household. Now, Mouthy Monty also has some expectations for you. He vows to be the most loyal and loving companion as long as you meet his expectations. 1. Monty needs a family that will give him the attention he deserves as the affection you give will make up for the first months of loneliness he experienced. 2. Monty needs a companion. He cannot be an only pet unless his human is home with him 24-7 and is willing to play when he needs to stimulation. Monty does well with other cats or dogs. If you have a bigger dog, let Monty warm up at his speed and then he will want to become best buds quickly. 3. Monty needs to have time when he is the center of attention at least once per day. His ego is fragile and his new family needs to grow his egotistical ways. These 'guardian kittens' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These 'guardian cats' help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for kittens (6 months & under) $150 for cats (older than 6 months) $100 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . Georgia is a sweet mama cat who has nursed her two babies and is ready for her own home. She loves both of her kittens, Mattise and Mary, but she would also do fine on her own or with another cat. Georgia likes pets, but she can be shy, so she would benefit from a quiet home with a family who will respect her space to let her personality blossom. I am not currently at the shelter because I`m helping my babies grow big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by early October.*You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold.
