Story
This beautiful girl came to us in 2024 after her owner was evicted and could no longer care for her. With her stunning eyes and gorgeous markings, Charlotte prefers to watch the world from the safety of her bed or curled up under a blanket, truly enjoying the quiet and simple joys in life. While unsure of new faces at first, with a little patience and lots of soft pets, and maybe even some tasty treats, Charlotte is sure to come around quickly and offer companionship that is deeply meaningful and rewarding. If you’re ready to offer patience, kindness, and a safe place to land, Charlotte will reward you with a bond that’s as special as she is.

Story
At just two years old, this beautiful Siamese girl has already done the hard work of raising a family. Nala arrived with kittens who have all since found loving homes, and now it is finally her turn to be the one spoiled, cherished, and adored. Nala is shy and may take a bit to warm up but once she does, she is affectionate and gentle. She has the kind of striking blue eyes that stop people in their tracks! After spending so much of her young life caring for others, she is ready to trade motherhood for sunny windowsills and cozy naps.💙

Meet Xena-Quiet Beauty Seeking a Patient Forever Home! The adoption application can be found here:https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/CatXena is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route.Xena is a gorgeous Lynx Point Siamese with a gentle soul and a sweet personality, She can be a little timid when first meeting new people or adjusting to a new environment, but with a little patience and understanding, she blossoms into a loving companion. While Xena is okay with other cats, she prefers not to be in the middle of all the action and would be happiest in a home with few or no cats, where she can have her own space.Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate nature begins to shine, and she enjoys spending time with the people she trusts. Xena is looking for a calm, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace and build a strong bond with her new family. If you're searching for a sweet, gentle companion who will reward your patience with love and loyalty, Xena may be the perfect match.Xena is spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is his forever home!Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens---ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you’re doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Story
Azul is a stud muffin of a big boy cat. We don’t know what is bigger – his beautiful blue eyes or his enormous round head. We estimate him to weigh around 15 lbs and believe he is around 5-6 years old. Azul was found roaming a neighborhood along the Texas Mexico border, where a good Samaritan saw him and knew she had to help him. He was super scrawny, covered in fleas, tons of missing hair and scabs all over his body. After about 6 weeks, Azul is fully healed, all of his hair has grown back, and he is ready for his forever home. Despite his age, he is very playful and active. He loves to be around people and loves to play with his toys. Cuddling is one of his favorite things. Azul is in a foster home where he is around other cats and dogs. Even though he is big, he gets along wonderfully with other cats! He has met dogs in the current foster home and has no issues with them. He can live happily with other dogs and cats in the home! Azul would love to be a lap cat and be loved every day and all day. He does NOT mark. Azul is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and given a clean bill of health from a veterinarian prior to adoption/transport. PLEASE READ ABOUT AZUL: Azul is a sweet, gentle soul who has recently tested positive for FIV. This means he needs an indoor-only home where he can be pampered and live a long, healthy life. FIV-positive cats are often the most affectionate! Azul is a total lovebug who is looking for a cozy spot to nap and a family to love. Don't let FIV scare you — it's just a label, not a limitation! He is a very healthy boy that you would not even know had FIV if not for the test. Most cats don’t show symptoms! Please consider reading some facts about FIV and let us know if you would still like to be considered for his adoption. Azul is ready to bring joy to your home. We look forward to hearing back from you. Here are some facts and information to help you learn about FIV: FIV is Not a Death Sentence: FIV is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, not a death sentence. Many FIV+ cats live long, normal lives (10-15+ years) and never show symptoms. Perfectly Safe for Families: FIV is not transmissible to humans, dogs, or other non-feline pets. Debunking Myths About Transmission of FIV: Casual Contact is Safe: Contrary to popular belief, FIV is not spread through litter boxes, water bowls, or grooming. Mainly Spreads Through Fighting: The virus is primarily passed through deep, penetrating bite wounds, usually among unneutered, aggressive strays. Safe to Live with Negative Cats: In a stable, non-aggressive home, FIV+ cats can live peacefully with FIV-negative cats. https://www.awlnsw.com.au/find-out-more-about-adopting-an-fiv-cat/ https://bestfriends.org/pet-care-resources/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Prior to adopting him, he will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian. To apply to adopt you can go to our website at: www.pawsitive-Impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is currently located in Texas, but we do NOT adopt animals out in Texas due to the hundreds of animals being euthanized here daily. We do adopt in Central US and the East Coast. The adoption fee listed INCLUDES transport from Texas to the location where this animal is posted in. His adoption fee is $495 – No additional fees. Transport goes to the following locations every 2-3 weeks Albany, NY Wells and Brattleboro, VT Willington, Enfield, New Haven and Dayville, CT Port Chester, NY Dayon and Akron, OH Grove City and Bloomsburg, PA Ridgefield and Mt Laurel, NJ White Marsh and Falls Church, MD We have happily adopted hundreds of animals this way (long distance), and we do our best to make sure the animal you are applying for is best fit for your home.

Story
😺 Meet Chewy – Your Chatty, Charming Companion! 💬💙 Calling all Siamese lovers—have we got the guy for you! Chewy (just saying his name makes us smile!) is a 3.5-year-old Siamese mix with a stunning lynx point coat, dazzling blue eyes, and a purr-sonality as bold as his meow. This handsome boy is full of affection, curiosity, and conversation—he’s never short on things to say and is always ready to share his thoughts with you! Chewy is outgoing and loves human attention. He’s a total social butterfly who wants to be wherever you are—lounging nearby, chatting away, or vying for your love. Tyra Banks would definitely approve of his camera-ready smize skills, too! 🧠 But here’s the deal: Chewy needs an experienced cat-savvy home. While he’s very affectionate, he can get overstimulated and may nip when he’s had enough. Reading his body language and respecting his boundaries is key to keeping your relationship happy and balanced. With the right human, Chewy is a devoted companion who loves deeply—he just needs someone who understands that even lovebugs need space sometimes! 🎾 Chewy’s Ideal Home: An experienced cat person who can recognize and respect his limits A calm environment without dogs or young children Likely best as a solo cat, though he can coexist with mellow felines who respect his personal bubble Plenty of toys and enrichment—he’s an active, intelligent boy who loves to play! If you're looking for a charming, chatty, and affectionate companion—and you're the kind of person who gets that even the sweetest cats have complex feelings—Chewy just might be your purr-fect match. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change.
