Story
Ember and Sam are half-siblings and must be adopted together. They're playful with each other and look for pets and affection from people. Children must be at least 8 years old. ****************************************************************** Our adoption process: Prospective adopters must be at least 25 years old and live in Connecticut. You meet the cat(s) in whom you’re interested (we’re a foster-based organization and our cats are in several locations). If after meeting the cat(s) you want to proceed to adoption, we will email our application to you; please return it within 48 hours. We call the animal hospitals you’ve used for a reference and do a home visit by video chat. If you’re approved, you sign an adoption contract, we email the cat’s/cats’ medical paperwork to you, and we meet at the Manchester PetSmart adoption center for you to pick up the cat(s) and receive a coupon booklet from PetSmart. The adoption fee is $260 for single cats and $500 for bonded pairs and must be paid in cash; this includes but isn’t limited to spay or neuter, vaccinations, worming, flea/tick prevention, and microchip.

Story
Meet Jewel    Jewel is a stunning 2-year-old Siamese mix with soulful blue eyes and a voice she loves to use. True to her Siamese roots, she is very vocal and highly communicative—Jewel will happily “talk” to you about her day and let you know exactly how she’s feeling.   She is incredibly affectionate and loving. While she tolerates being picked up, Jewel much prefers close cuddles where she can relax and feel secure. Her favorite toys are simple but fun: ponytails and jingly balls are guaranteed to keep her entertained.   Jewel does have some special needs that require an experienced, committed adopter. She struggles with separation anxiety and nighttime vocalization, so she needs a calm, understanding home where someone is around often. She also has a severe poultry allergy and must remain on a hypoallergenic, vet-approved diet.   Jewel is a gentle, well-mannered girl who truly just wants love and companionship.   Her ideal home would be with an older owner who is home frequently and/or a household with another friendly cat to help keep her company. With the right family, Jewel will be an incredibly devoted, affectionate companion.   If you’re looking for a loving, talkative cat who bonds deeply with her people, Jewel may be your perfect match.  ##2188825##

Story
Meet Ashley, a 3-month-old Siamese sweetheart with the cutest speckled fur and bright, expressive eyes that will melt you instantly. This little girl is a loud purrer who turns on her motor the moment she gets affection. She loves toys, playtime, and anything that lets her show off her fun, kitten energy. Ashley is incredibly sweet, loves snuggles, and is already litter box trained like a pro. She can happily live with other cats and is gentle enough for kids, making her a great fit for a family home—but she’d also thrive with a loving singleton who wants a playful, cuddly companion. If you’re looking for a kitten who’s equal parts fun, affectionate, and adorable, Ashley is ready to purr her way into your heart. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results were provided at intake.*
