Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Wingdings! This big guy is 12.5 pounds and is a year and half old. He is a giant love-bug!! He comes to the door to greet everybody, and loves nothing more than being pet and cuddled. His favorite spot to relax is sprawled out across the middle of the floor. He's such a chill cat, nothing seems to phase him. When we were mopping the floor, he refused to move, so we gently pushed him to the side with our foot and he didn't even lift his head. We were cracking up! He has such a cute personality. He gets along great with everybody - cats, dogs, kids, you name it. We love him and we know you will too! This cat is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application' at www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms Adoption fee is: $200Can’t adopt? Consider donating! We are in need of cat food, litter, and enrichment items for the kitties in our care! Potential adopters can speak to the cats foster mom on the phone or do a meeting on Zoom or Facetime if desired to virtually meet the cat. You can pick your kitty up 'curb side'. Cats can be returned with a full refund for up to one week. * DPR cats receive the following medical care prior to adoption: Initial vet visit Spay or neuter (if cat is 6 months or older)Rabies vaccination (if cat is 6 months or older)Distemper vaccinationSNAP testing for FIV, Leukemia and heart wormBroad spectrum dewormers Monthly flea/tick preventative Ear mite preventative The above is standard for ALL cats in our care. But many cats we rescue also require some additional TLC prior to adoption, such as antibiotics, eye ointments, wound care, fungal treatment, x-rays, or various surgeries.
