Introducing Jen & Tom! 💜Some duos are siblings, some are soulmates, and some are simply best friends. Jen and Tom fall into that last category. We can't say for sure if there's romance brewing between these bonded buddies, but one thing is certain—they make an adorable team. At about 6 and 3 years old, they're ready to find a forever home together.Jen is a total heart-melter. I mean...come on—a gorgeous Chocolate Point beauty? She's as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. This affectionate girl adores her people, happily curling up in your lap for as long as you'll let her. She's also quite the conversationalist, always ready to tell you about her day or offer commentary on yours.Tom takes a little longer to decide you're one of the good humans, but once he does, you'll discover what a sweet, goofy guy he really is. He prefers to come to you on his own terms, especially if he's busy investigating something important, but when he's ready for affection, he's perfectly happy to soak it up. He's an absolute fiend for treats, goes wild for catnip, and loves toys of every kind. He'll race around the house, wrestle with Jen (who usually responds with an amused "whatever"), and has even been known to play fetch...well, at least once. When her foster family found her stuck in such a precarious spot, they were preparing to call for professional help when the clever little stinker suddenly wriggled free and practically fell right into their waiting hands.Once safely rescued, Purr-cy was taken to HALO for a full evaluation and received a clean bill of health. Back in foster care, she began her journey of learning that people could be trusted. At first, she was shy and reclusive, preferring to hide and observe from a safe distance. But it didn't take long for her sweet personality to shine through.Before long, this beautiful Lynx Point Siamese kitten transformed into an affectionate cuddle bug with a powerful purr motor, inspiring her perfect name: Purr-cy. Today, she's a confident, playful girl who has happily claimed the bed as her own and is making up for all the playtime she missed while surviving on her own.Purr-cy gets along well with both cats and dogs in her foster home. While she isn't particularly bonded to any of them, she's comfortable sharing her space and shows no fear around her furry companions. We would like to introduce the handsome Chaney. This beautiful boy is just a year old and was trapped outside earlier this year. He had a bad case of pillow foot and was doing well. He wasn’t sure if he liked people, but was not healthy enough to put back outside. He also needed months of medication to heal his foot. Chaney took his medicine and one day decided he likes people. That like turned to love and he’s an absolutely loveable boy now. You can carry him around like a baby and he won’t complain! Chaney’s pillow foot has healed up, but he has extreme weakness in that leg. The leg seems to collapse when he walks, but he can jump and climb and run just fine. Last week, Chaney was struggling to pee and it turns out he was blocked. His foster rushed him to the emergency vet and they were thankfully able to unblock him without surgery. He has to eat canned urinary food now. At his follow up appointment, it was also discovered that Chaney is diabetic 😭 This guy can’t catch a break! He is on twice daily insulin now and gets that after he eats his two daily meals of canned urinary food. To say Chaney is an investment cat might be an understatement - but he is so worth it 😻🥹 This poor cat never would have made it outside and deserves to be healthy, loved, and safe inside.

Meet Rocket and Mantis! These two wonderful, goofy siblings are the epitome of love and joy. They’ve been with us for over a year and a half, and they’ve filled every day with their playful antics and sweet companionship. Though they’re now adults, they haven’t lost their youthful spirit. Whether they’re chasing each other around or just hanging out, their energy and affection are endless. After a rough start, Mantis and Rocket have thrived in the warmth of our home. They’ve come so far since their early days, and we’ve watched them grow into strong, happy cats who are ready to share their love with their forever family. Their bond is unbreakable, and they need to be adopted together—these two are a pair who love each other more than anything! Despite being FELV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus positive), these siblings continue to live life to the fullest. FELV does affect their immune system, but it doesn’t stop them from being the playful, affectionate cats they’ve always been. FELV is not contagious to humans or other pets (except for cats), so they’d do best in a home with either no other cats or one that already understands the dynamics of living with FELV-positive cats. Adopting FELV+ cats requires some extra attention to their health, but with the right care and guidance from your vet, Mantis and Rocket can live happy, fulfilling lives. Their playful personalities and unwavering affection make them the perfect companions for the right home.
