Story
Olef is nearly 3 years old and loving life in a foster home with a large dog. He will meet you at the door when you return back home . He likes to lay beside you when you sleep. He purs when eating. His affection is on his terms. He is currently testing positive on the ELISA test for FeLV although his two PCR tests are negative. This means he has been exposed in the past to FeLV and currently has the virus in his system or is shedding it. He may eventually clear this virus from his system.Based on this, he would do best in a home as an only cat. He is incredibly smart and can open cabinets to climb into to nap!To meet email contact@stlpetrescue.comWe only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
Kaison and Kaiden are very sweet brothers that love each other very much. They came in pretty ill. We've nursed them back to healthy but they still have residual weepy eyes from time to time. Kaison has permanent damage to his left eye where it looks a little odd. We've had it checked out several times and our vet says he's okay to adopt out.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
Say hello to Gayle King, a breathtaking Siamese mix with striking blue eyes, a hint of a tabby tail, and an adventurous spirit! This active, playful kitten loves to run, jump, chase toys, and wrestle with her feline friends. She’s happiest when she has another cat to share her adventures with, like her sister and best friend, Oprah! While Gayle is a little more reserved around people than her sister, she’s wonderfully social with other cats and gains confidence from having a feline companion. With patience and time, she’ll continue to blossom, making each new milestone especially rewarding. Gayle would be a great fit for a busy home that can offer plenty of enrichment and interactive play. Because she loves other cats so much, she’d be happiest with another playful kitten and we’d especially love to see her adopted with Oprah. Two kittens are better than one: they’ll keep each other active, entertained, and comforted while bringing double the joy to your family. If you’re ready to earn the trust of a gorgeous blue-eyed girl with a playful heart, Gayle is waiting to meet you. Apply to adopt Gayle King at https://tenthlifecats.org/adopt/.

Meet Oprah Winfrey, a stunning Siamese mix with mesmerizing blue eyes and a personality that’s every bit as captivating as her name! This playful, energetic girl is always ready for her next adventure, whether it’s chasing toys, climbing a cat tree, or zooming around the house. When playtime is over, Oprah is all about her people. She absolutely adores pets and will happily roll over for her favorite thing in the world -- belly scratches! She’s affectionate, social, and loves being part of the action. Oprah would thrive in a home that can provide plenty of playtime, enrichment, and love. Like all kittens, she has lots of energy and would do best with another young feline companion. Even better, consider adopting her with her best friend, Gayle King. Two kittens keep each other entertained, build confidence together, and are twice the fun! Story
Emerson was adopted a little over two years ago. He was found on the streets of St Louis. He has always been a little skiddish but has been warming up. He loves the delectable lickable treats. We have two young children and he has a lot of anxiety. We have given him a lot of time with them and he has continued to get worse. Emerson would do very well in a calm and child free environment.
