Story
Solstice is an amazing and beautiful kitten! She is very affectionate and playful. Solstice tested positive for feline leukemia on intake to Helping Strays. While she is healthy today, it is impossible to know how much time she has before her quality of life could be affected. It could be months or years. Regardless of how much quality time she has, we think she deserves a loving home. If you think you might be the person to give her that home, please contact Helping Strays. Solstice needs to be an only cat or go to a home with another feline leukemia positive cat. Feline leukemia is not transmissible to dogs or humans. Here is a link to a feline leukemia fact sheet from Tree House Humane Society that may be helpful (you'll need to copy and paste)https://treehouseanimals.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/FeLV-Fact-Sheet-Public-1.pdf If you don't have another cat, or if you have a feline leukemia positive cat, and would like to meet her, we would love to talk with you.Solstice is five months old.Location: Foster homeThe adoption fee for kittens under 7 months old is $125. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. Please submit an application if you are interested in adopting. www.helpingstrays.org

Story
Hi, I'm Andy, a sweet and cuddly kitten. I'm quite the curious little guy, always eager to explore new corners of the world. I'm also pretty smart, if I do say so myself. I've mastered the art of finding the comfiest spots for a nap and I'm a pro at playful pouncing. But don't let my energy fool you, I can be quite the gentle soul. Sometimes, I can be a bit shy, but once I get to know you, we'll be the best of friends. I'm also independent, but I do have a soft spot for my brother, Aaron. We're a package deal, you see. We love to play and explore together. Adopting us would mean double the fun and double the love. We promise to bring joy, laughter, and companionship to our forever home. His adoption fee is $200. To meet contact@stlpetrescue.comWe only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. Story
Rocco is a very talkative and loving cat. He was our baby before we had kids and is jealous and attention hungry. We would rather he could live with someone who has the time to give him the love he deserves. He is very beautiful and so sweet.

Story
Hello, potential forever family! I'm Rancy, the enchanting Siamese mix with light blue eyes that are sure to captivate your heart. Despite the lack of a fancy pedigree, my heart is brimming with love, and I'm on a journey to find a new home through no fault of my own.My story began in June 2017 when I was a tiny kitten exploring the world. Life took an unexpected turn, and now I'm seeking a home because my previous owner had to embark on a traveling work adventure, leaving me in search of a new haven. I'm a genuine sweetheart deserving of all the love and attention a cat like me craves. Brushing sessions and lounging in a sunlit windowsill are my favorite indulgences. Now, when it comes to new faces, I might play the shy card initially. Being a former stray can do that to a girl. But worry not, once I'm familiar with you, I'm all about the head scratches and neck rubs. Attention is my forte, and I flaunt it proudly. On the flip side, I'm also an independent lady who values her alone time; a girl needs her space, after all. While I haven't had the chance to interact with small children, I'm confident I'd thrive best in a home with adults and older kids who understand my boundaries. Oh, and speaking of boundaries, I've been around other fur babies and, though a bit shy at first, I adapt quickly. In case you're wondering about my health, rest assured, I'm spayed and up to date on all my vaccines. I'm currently located at the rescue, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to meet you and potentially become a cherished member of your family. Ready to make me a part of your home and create some purr-fect memories together? Let's arrange a meeting and see if we're a match made in cat heaven!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 2, 2024, 3:24 pm
