Ollie came to us in April 2021 when we rescued his mother. We fostered the whole litter and fell in love with this little guy, deciding to keep him as part of our family. We are now looking for a new home for Ollie that is a bit calmer than our current busy household of five kids and multiple other pets. He takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he is a total lover! He loves to be in the same room as the action but prefers to watch from a distance until he feels comfortable. Kaison and Kaiden are very sweet brothers that love each other very much. They came in pretty ill. We've nursed them back to healthy but they still have residual weepy eyes from time to time. Kaison has permanent damage to his left eye where it looks a little odd. We've had it checked out several times and our vet says he's okay to adopt out.We only adopt to people in the St. Louis METRO area. DC is one of five beloved cats searching for a new, loving home after their human recently passed. He is a stunning Siamese-mix with Blue Eyes and very friendly. DC gets along well with other cats and dogs, making him an easy companion in a multi pet home. He’s estimated to be 8 years old. DC is neutered, litterbox trained and was kept up to date on his vaccines until his human became ill. Like his siblings, he is incredibly friendly and loves seeking out affection. DC —and all five of these sweet cats—are hoping to find caring homes where they can feel safe, cherished, and adored. He is part of Mercy Hospice’s Pet Peace of Mind program, honoring the bond between patients and their beloved companions by helping pets find safe, loving homes.

❤️ Special Home Needed for a Very Special Girl ❤️ Sometimes the cats who need us the most aren't the ones who immediately climb into our laps. We have a beautiful 4-year-old brown Siamese girl who came to us after being picked up by ACS with her kittens. Her babies are friendly, happy little kitties, but Momma is a different story. This beautiful girl is spicy, frightened, and unsure of people. She cannot be held right now, and the world can still be a pretty scary place for her. But we don't believe that means she doesn't deserve a loving home. We believe she simply needs someone who is willing to give her time, patience, and the chance to learn that she is safe. 🐾 Since coming into rescue, she has been spayed and brought up to date on her vaccinations, so now we're hoping to find the special person who will take the next step with her. 🏡 We are looking for a patient, understanding adopter who doesn't expect an instant lap cat. Someone who will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. Someone who understands that sitting quietly in the same room, offering treats, playing with a wand toy, or simply giving her a safe place to observe the world can be a huge step forward. Maybe she will never be the type of cat who wants to be carried around. And that's okay. Maybe her way of saying "I love you" will be sitting beside you instead of on your lap. Maybe she'll eventually accept a gentle touch. Maybe she'll surprise us all.
